Event Assistance is designed to make race day as stress-free as possible, so that you can put in your best performance.

Consider this offering if you're traveling without your personal coach or team, or you just want the peace of mind that comes with having an experienced hand on site.

Benefits include:
- Supplying an estimated daily schedule
- Tactical/technique/gearing advice
- Bringing equipment into the infield each day
- Light mechanics (pumping tires, changing gears)
- Occupying the pit with spare wheels
- Calling splits
- Bringing the bike to the line/holding

What a weekend with the return of the Philadelphia Cycling Classic. The classic is indeed back!

The Elite Track National Championships were held in Carson, CA. Our highlight was Kimberly Zubris stealthily slipping off the front, working hard to widen the gap, and charging ahead of her breakaway companions at just the right moment to take the national championship in the scratch race. Group Track Training continues through the fall. The regional track racing season may be over, but that doesn't mean track riding is.

Anyone with track cycling experience is welcome to join us on Sunday evenings at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. Each coach-led session consists of a group warm-up, then individual or group skill development, drills, and/or specific efforts, followed by a group cool-down.

The Valley Preferred Cycling Center's Friday Night Under the Lights: Madison Cup Finale got Kim Geist Coaching athletes involved on many levels.

Jillian Halm got outfitted in her national champion jersey with her partner and finished second in the overall Madison Cup competition.

Coach Kim Geist and former Finesse & Fury developmental program athlete Hannah Halm provided depth to the madison field and returned to the track together for the night.

Noah Shumskas was specifically honored for his win in the season-long Junior Rider of the Year competition.

Noah stood beside many of the other junior riders who have been a part of Kim Geist Coaching's Courage & Confidence and Momentum & Mastery developmental programs even as well as our Homeschool Physical Education program, as they were honored for their achievements at this year's Junior Track National Championships.

And Andy Taus was honored alongside his wife Marilyn, for 50 years of service and commitment to the Valley Preferred Cycling Center and cycling community. We are happy to host Andy at our training facility, the Kim Geist Academy, where he promotes healthy aging and completes his prepared strength training program several times a week.

What a fantastic way to wrap up the 50th anniversary season at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center! Thank you to everyone who supports the venue where so many of our coached athletes can practice and display their hard work on so many levels.

Jillian Halm sprinted from the breakaway at the Ardmore Rock n Ride to become the new women 3/4 PA state criterium champion.

This year's Masters Track National Championships brought even more than medals.

Kimberly Zubris set the bar for the women 40-44 3k individual pursuit through a world record performance. She also broke a national record in the 1k time trial.

The names around her changed, but Carol-Lynn Mills was consistent with fifth-place medal finishes in all four women 50-54 events she competed in. She set a new personal record in her own individual pursuit, as well.

We also lent a hand to additional riders through our Event Assistance program. Aimee earned a silver medal in the women 55-59 individual pursuit. Joe and Ben also put forward their best efforts in their events.

Friday Night Under the Lights: Tandemonium & Corporate Challenge featured two thrilling events at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center.

Two junior riders in our Momentum & Mastery intermediate developmental cycling program joined their parents on the Eleven-7D team, to take the win in the Corporate Challenge Italian pursuit event.

Kim Geist Coaching athlete Jillian Halm teamed up with her sister Hannah, a former Finesse & Fury advanced developmental cycling program participant, to tackle the Tandemonium tandem events together. The only all-female team on the track worked together as the cohesive unit that they are!

Shout out to Jill, too, for consistency this season in her first year as an elite rider. She finished second in the season-long Rider of the Year competiton. Kim Geist Coaching athlete Noah Shumskas won the men's Junior Rider of the Year competition.
