Von Lockridge Deutsch-Drahthaars was born accidentally on New Years Day 2012 when my wife and I picked up our pup, Izzie vom Millerhaus. We had no idea at the time of the journey and experiences that were ahead. Countless hours training in the summer heat paid dividends through solid points on wary birds and blind retrieves in icy waters. Forged by a passion for hunting and the knowledge attained

through the breed testing system, the goal of Lockridge Drahthaars is to produce quality hunting dogs to hunt feather, fowl or fur in all conditions and great family companions.

Beach time with Trixie. She loves the sand and shore birds. She will just run out and swim in the ocean.

Somewhere in between the days there was a skunk in there. I was hunting solo and in the rain. The last day of the week...

Somewhere in between the days there was a skunk in there. I was hunting solo and in the rain. The last day of the week was solo again with a flooding storm tide and thick fog. I had Trixie and wanted to get her some work. We ended up with five bufflehead, one black duck, one brant and a tired dog.
