Things we make our kids do: that would send a lot of y’all into a coma.

🔥 They spot and load for each other. And they do it correctly. How many times have you been to a meet at the HS level and have seen dropped lifts, injured spotters or more. We teach them how to spot and load, what you should do if you can’t get it, and how to protect everyone around them.

🔥We make them write their workouts down. They track every lift and every weight they do. Long gone are the days where you just tell them what weight to do. They need to be invested. They need to know what numbers they are hitting so they are invested in their growth as much as we are.

🔥 We encourage them to play multiple sports (and we go watch). Early specialization kills fundamental skills. They play football, baseball, ballet and cheer. They do these things at a high level because powerlifting builds their foundation. They are bigger faster and stronger because of powerlifting, and they have better body awareness because of other sports.

🔥We end the day with quizzes, extra mobility or games. We are here to teach them. So we quiz them. Welcome to the school of gains. If they aren’t being quizzed, we’re doing mobility or we are playing games because after all, this is all about having fun.

We don’t just build athletes, we build monsters on the field and in the gym. Monsters with manners, of course.

Our youth powerlifting class meets twice a week. Come join and see your potential skyrocket.
