To make mounting easy, we offer a Quadlock mounting kit that includes:
• Adhesive Original Universal Adaptor (stick to the back of MAPTATTOO)
• Quad Lock 360 Base – Flexible Adhesive (mount on your boat)
• Quad Lock 360 Head – Lever Head (securely attach MAPTATTOO)

If you want to take the unit, you can disattach your MAPTATTOO (with the Universal Adaptor on) from the 360 Head - and easily take the device off the mount.

You can also get it directly from Quadlock as well, you’ll need to include a “Universal Adapter” that can be glued to the back of MAPTATTOO. We also have many customers who just use 3M Dual Lock tape.

No Installation Needed - MAPTATTOO is portable, designed with small boats in mind. You don't need an electrical installation, just simply take it to the boat you are using, which may be a kayak, a paddleboard, or a dinghy.

As for mounting, we recommend using a Quadlock kit, which you can get from us or directly from Quadlock (they have more mount options). If you order from Quadlock, you'll need to include a "Universal Adapter" that can be glued to the back of MAPTATTOO. We also have many customers who just use 3M Dual Lock tape.

"Right out of the box the device looked as good as it does on their website, and it was packaged like you’d expect an expensive internet device to be. Included with the chartplotter, which resided in a protective soft case, were two USB cords for communication and battery charging."

“I’ve been using it while testing my electric outboard conversion, and as a portable chartplotter on my MacGregor 19 powersailer. In both cases, the MAPTATTOO is superior in just about every way to either a late-model Garmin handheld GPS or one of the older fishfinder/plotters. I can keep my eyes on the water while navigating, instead of pushing buttons. And, of course, I’ve got continuous, large readouts of speed and bearing, as well as speed to, heading to, heading correction, and ETA if I tap on a waypoint.”
