Welcome Coach Daniel Beebe!!! Check out his Krav Maga classes Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm.

With a tenure in the martial arts world that started in 2003 Daniel stayed dedicated through a journey to black belt for nearly two decades of instruction with the organization Krav Maga Worldwide showing a serious testament to discipline and “never quit” mindset.
Teaching across the entire spectrum—from the high energy of kids’ classes to the technical intensity of black belt testing—requires a massive amount of versatility as a coach. Daniel Has seen the system evolve quite a bit since the early 2000s.

For him the most rewarding part of the transition has been seeing a child gain confidence, and helping a high-level practitioner refine the nuances of a complex defense system

Welcoming a new addition to the coaching staff at Sparta Academy Parrish Shipley is a former Marine, Bodyguard, and neuromuscular therapist has been involved with martial arts for over 18 years. From training under many greats to training his own fighters to their dreams of becoming champion.
Parrish or also known as Coach Ships, currently an amateur Muay Thai fighter with over 20 fights under his belt and rising. One of his notable achievements is knocking out the #7 ranked middleweight kickboxer in Canada, after agreeing to the fight on a two-week notice. Coach Ships has been teaching kid’s and adult boxing and Muay Thai for the past 15 years helping make amateur champions and professional champions in between fights camps as well working high-profile security. He owes his love and passion for Muay Thai to his mother, after the passing of his father. She encouraged him to take up Boxing, that’s when he met James Toney and John Arthur which led him to Ming Freeman and David Huey.

Welcoming a new addition to our coaching staff
Coach David Timnick found Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a little later in life, but he quickly became obsessed when he started training back in 2016. What began as a personal challenge turned into a true passion for teaching, and he’s been coaching since 2019. David loves seeing the positive impact jiu-jitsu and self-defense can have on people- building confidence, discipline, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Outside the gym, Coach David has a unique mix of both skilled experience and creativity. He’s been a professional musician for over 20 years and tours internationally with a rock band,I’ve taught at Gracie Jiu Jitsu Beverly Hills, won gold several times at Naga, Grappling Industries, NABJJF, and Jiu Jitsu World League. Gi and no-gi. Also have won silver and bronze a handful of times as well.
