Get a gang of friends and head down to Beaver Park Yacht club June 18 for our first blind date with paint night (reference to the hallmark movie “blind date with a book”😉). For $20, you get a hella view of the lake and a cocktail paint by number painting (throw back to when you are a kid). Cash bar. You bring your own snack. Must RSVP!

24/7 Live Lorain Lighthouse Cam Coming Soon!

We’re excited to announce that the Lorain County Visitors Bureau has purchased a new livestream camera that will be installed directly on the Lorain Lighthouse.

Whether you’re checking lake conditions, watching storms roll in, following freighters, or simply enjoying the waterfront scenery, the new camera will give people everywhere a live look at Lake Erie.

That also means we’ll have THREE live waterfront cameras:

• Lorain Lighthouse Cam
• Port Lorain Cam
• Black River Landing Cam

This project has been made possible through a partnership between the Lorain County Visitors Bureau, Lorain Port and Finance Authority, Lorain Lighthouse Foundation, and Crow’s Nest Digital Media as part of ongoing efforts to expand Lorain’s live waterfront camera network.

Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to install and launch!
