After last nights HS Class we spoke about the difference between getting shots up… and getting the right shots up.

A lot of players go to the gym, get on a shooting machine, jump into a class, you probably see the videos of kids catching passes and standing stationary or in a line stepping into shots.

But development is not just about volume. It’s about building the shots, reads, footwork, spacing, and decisions that actually show up in games.

2 of the most important shots in today’s game is the Corner and Wing 3. Think of all the situations that leads to those 2 shots. Running wide in Transition, Spacers in Half Court settings, Drifting when someone attacks Baseline. Etc..

Make sure you’re working on these type of shots and the movement that happens in, and out of these shots!!

👀 Alexa Andre is one of the top 7th Grade players in Maine!

6’1 with great footwork, and frame to play at a high level. Big-time upside with this one. Only in 7th grade, but continues to separate herself with her work ethic, focus, and attention to detail.

She is locked in on the little things, always coachable, and keeps finding ways to improve every time she steps on the floor‼️🙌🏻
