Seniors and exercise, the fact is the older we get the more we need it. As we age we lose muscle mass at a much greater rate ,we experience decreased mobility, reaction time lessens ,posture issues are likely, all these lead to gait and balance issues . We are like a car, as we accumulate mileage, we tend to have more problems. Due to these reasons we have less room for error. A youngster can go to a gym, do the wrong thing and get away with it (for awhile). I go to the gym, bend over wrong and I'm on ice for a few days. It's strange but true the older we get the more we need exercise and the more we need to DO IT CORRECTLY.

The older we get we aquire some wear and tear which may lead to compensation or dysfunction which may lead to even more wear and tear. Do the exercises correctly.
