Yesterday, these two made the trip to Springfield, Missouri to attend the Robert Drysdale seminar hosted by (a proud Zenith affiliate) and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish!
Robert Drysdale’s career speaks for itself. ADCC Absolute World Champion. IBJJF World Champion. UFC veteran. One of the most accomplished American grapplers in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu history. Very few athletes have ever reached the pinnacle of the sport across both gi and no-gi competition the way Rob has, and getting the opportunity to learn directly from someone with that level of experience is something truly special.
But beyond the accomplishments, titles, and legendary status, what stood out most was the kind of person Rob is. Genuine. Humble. Open. Authentic. In today’s world, that level of sincerity and character is honestly rare to find, especially from someone who has achieved so much at the highest levels of combat sports!
Huge thank you to Team Fusion for hosting such an amazing event and bringing together a great room full of grapplers eager to learn and grow. The hospitality, professionalism, and atmosphere were top-notch all the way around!
We’re grateful for opportunities like this and excited to bring that inspiration and knowledge back home to Square One Jiu Jitsu Academy in Downtown Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
