Working with the beginner class Friday night on some details of basic kicks and footwork.

If anyone tells you that learning kicks is easy. They don't know what they're talking about. It takes many months and up to years to get down the kicks in our curriculum.

It's not because they're extremely difficult. It's because the student has to teach their body how to do something it's never done before. The body has to learn not just how to put their foot in the right place but they also have to learn balance, coordination, build the bod-mind connection, timing, distance and so on. It's a difficult process.
