‼️If I could go back to 30, I’d start taking my health seriously before I felt like I had to.‼️

Because the truth is, a lot of things get harder to rebuild later muscle, mobility, consistency, habits, even the confidence to start again.

Your body is incredibly capable at 30, but that doesn’t mean you’re exempt from what comes with aging.

So if I could tell my 30-year-old self anything, it would be:

Build muscle now.
The more strength you carry with you, the better foundation you have as you get older.

Move your body now.
Don’t wait until stiffness, pain, or low energy forces you to pay attention.

Learn how to eat for your body now.
Not another crash diet. Learn the habits you can actually carry into your 40s, 50s, and beyond.

You don’t have to wait for a milestone birthday, a doctor’s warning, or a body that suddenly feels different.

Start while it still feels early.

Because one day, you’ll realize it wasn’t early at all.

🗣️ I wish women knew that there isn’t ONE exercise that’s going to make your belly fat disappear.

You can do crunches every day and absolutely make your core stronger… but your body doesn’t let you choose where the fat comes off first.

So if your goal is to lose belly fat, more ab work isn’t always the answer.

I’d focus on 3 things:

1. Strength train your whole body.
2. Pay attention to what you’re eating consistently.
3. Move more outside of your workout.

Belly fat is not a life sentence.

Do the things that actually work.

Struggling with belly fat? Come in and let us help you live a life you love in a body you love… in every season.

‼️You probably didn’t know what losing 100 pounds could actually make possible.‼️

1. JUMP for the first time
A common rule of thumb is that each pound of body weight lost can reduce knee-joint load by about four pounds during walking. So as the weight comes off, your knees have far less load to absorb with every step — and movements like jumping can start to feel possible again.

2. AB WORK for the first time
With less body weight to move and stronger muscles underneath, exercises that once felt impossible can become doable. Core work gets easier when your body has less load to manage and more strength to support it.

3. SPINNING like a 25-year-old
Carrying less weight can make cardio feel completely different because your heart and muscles aren’t working against the same load. Suddenly, the things you couldn’t even think about doing anymore can start feeling fun again.

Yes… Jessica lost 100+ pounds.
But even more than that, she gained the ability to jump, move, try new things, and trust her body again.

And that’s the part I want women to remember: sometimes the goal isn’t just a smaller number on the scale.

It’s getting back the things you thought your body could no longer do.

‼️Over 50 and trying to lose weight? The scale may be telling you the LEAST important part of the story.‼️

‼️ What I’d focus on at 50 before trying to lose another 20 pounds‼️

1. Cardio that’s easy on your joints.
You still want to move your body and challenge your heart, but it doesn’t have to beat your joints up. Walking, biking, incline treadmill work, and other lower-impact cardio can help you stay consistent.

2. Bodyweight exercises.
Before worrying about doing anything fancy, make sure you can control and move your own body well. Pull-ups, squats, step-ups, push-ups, planks, and similar movements help build the strength you actually use in everyday life.

3. Strength training at least 3 days a week.
This is the one I would not skip. Building and protecting muscle becomes even more important as we get older because muscle supports strength, metabolism, mobility, and how well we age.

At 50, I’m not just asking, “How much weight can we lose?”
I’m asking, “What kind of body are we building for the next 20–30 years?”

Because that’s the goal… to live the life we love, in the body we love, in every season.

Menopause belly fat is NOT a life sentence.

Annette is 64 and postmenopausal.

Since March, she’s lost almost 21 pounds and 20.7 pounds of body fat while maintaining her muscle. 💪🏽

But look at this…

Her visceral fat dropped 6 levels.
Her waist dropped 6 inches. 🔥

That’s not by accident.

Your body changes after menopause, and how you care for it has to change too.

At 64, Annette is proof your body can change 💜

Before Crystalized became a community, it was a decision.

This was the first Crystalized after I left Cajun.

I didn’t know then how many lives would eventually walk through our doors. I didn’t know people would come back 10, 15, almost 20 years later. I didn’t know we’d walk with women through weight loss, menopause, motherhood, grief, retirement and entirely new seasons of life.

I just knew I loved helping people change their lives, and I was willing to bet on that calling.

Over the years, the buildings changed. The Logos changed. The people grew. I grew. We grew.

But the heart never changed.

Helping people live a life they love in a body they love… in every season. 💜💛

That first Crystalized was only the beginning.

And we’re still writing the story.

What if taking care of yourself today changes someone else’s life tomorrow?

Nine years ago, Apphia chose her health. She showed up, did the work, got stronger, and learned what it meant to make taking care of herself a priority.

But somewhere along the way, her journey became bigger than her.

Today, she’s the one holding the mic. She’s the one encouraging, teaching, pushing, and helping other people discover what’s possible for their lives and bodies. 💜

That’s what transformation can do. What starts as a decision for YOU can eventually become something you get to pour into somebody else.

9 years later… she’s still strong. And now she’s paying it forward. 💜💛

Are you ready to change your life?!?
