And just like that, Summer Intensive is back! 🩰✨

We’re kicking off an incredible few weeks. Week One, we have guest teachers Brantly Shapiro and Sam Shapiro, as well as former KB students/teachers, Adriana Dew, Graham Barnes and Jessica Barrett, and our resident ballet teacher, Laura Markus! The students are also learning about nutrition, acting and lots of stretching.

Meanwhile, head choreographer, Erika Ballard is continuing preparations for Vincent at the end of the month. We’re so excited to welcome guest artist Adrian Sánchez Hernández with the Washington Ballet, who will be dancing the role of “Sane” Vincent. Follow along as rehearsals get underway!

Excerpts of Swan Lake coming this Thursday with our annual Spring Concert Showcase! Tickets can be purchased through our website.

We will also be featuring dances inspired by Carnival of the Animals and sharing our other forms of dance offered like tap, jazz and contemporary.

Kingsport Ballet is funded for Partnership Support by the Tennessee Arts Commission under an agreement with the National Endowment for the Arts and the General Assembly. The sale of specialty license plates helps support the arts in Tennessee.
