NASCAR Truck Series Driver Cole Butcher to Appear at Corrigan Oil Speedway on NASCAR Night June 5

MASON, Mich. – Great Lakes Racing Promotions and Corrigan Oil Speedway are excited to announce that NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Cole Butcher will make a special appearance during NASCAR Night on Friday, June 5 at Corrigan Oil Speedway in Mason, Michigan.

Butcher, one of the rising stars in NASCAR and one of North America's most accomplished short-track racers, will be available to sign autographs from 7:45 PM to 8:15 PM. The first 100 kids through the front gates will receive a free Goodyear tire that can be autographed by Butcher during the appearance.

The Porter's Lake, Nova Scotia native has built an impressive resume on the short-track scene, including multiple prestigious Super Late Model victories and championships before making the jump to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. His success has made him one of the most recognizable young drivers in grassroots racing today.

"We're thrilled to bring a current NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver to Corrigan Oil Speedway," said Drew Jach of Great Lakes Racing Promotions. "Cole Butcher represents what short-track racing is all about. He worked his way up through the grassroots ranks, won some of the biggest races in North America, and now competes on NASCAR's national stage. We think our fans and especially our younger race fans are going to enjoy the opportunity to meet him."

The on-track action will feature the Ohio Wheelman Super Stocks, National Compact Touring Series, and MCR Dwarf Cars.

Fan Gates Open: 5:00 PM
Racing Begins: 7:00 PM
Cole Butcher Autograph Session: 7:45 PM – 8:15 PM
Adults: $20
Kids (6-12): $5
Children 5 & Under: Free

Corrigan Oil Speedway is located at 779 N. College Road, Mason, MI 48854.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the first 100 kids through the gates will receive a free Goodyear tire for autographs.

Our next event will be at Corrigan Oil Speedway next Friday, June 5th, with the Ohio Wheelman, MCR Dwarf Cars, and National Compact Touring Series. We are expecting 15 Wheelman, 20 MCR Dwarfs, and about 30 NCTS cars. Also the Wheelman Juice Box Series will be here.

Here are the Enduro rules for Hartford Motor Speedway. Please note for this event we WILL allow safety rims.

🚫 No full-size trucks or SUVs permitted.
✅ Mini vans are welcome.

💰 $1,000 to WIN

🏁 Our next leased event will be Woody’s Race for Down Syndrome Family Night at Hartford Speedway on May 29th at 7:30PM! 🏁

We are working hard to make this a true family event where everyone can come out and enjoy a great night at the races. Before the racing action begins, we will be hosting a HUGE Pit Party from 5:30PM-7:15PM with several fun attractions for fans of all ages.

Woody loved all kinds of unique vehicles and displays — crazy vehicles, classic cars, motorcycles, mini fire trucks, and anything cool and different. We are currently looking for a few special vehicles or displays to be part of the Pit Party experience.

The Great Lakes Racing Promotions will honor the suspensions handed down by Russell's M-40 Speedway for our leased shows at Hartford Motor Speedway, Corrigan Oil Speedway, and Kalamazoo Speedway. The National Compact Touring Series and Midwest Compact Touring Series will also be honoring those suspension as voted on by our drivers board.
