Rev 4 Hope Outreach Partners with Great Lakes Racing Promotions for 'Merica Night at the Zoo 250 at Kalamazoo Speedway
KALAMAZOO, Mich. β Great Lakes Racing Promotions is proud to announce a partnership with Rev 4 Hope Outreach for the upcoming 'Merica Night at the Zoo 250 on Friday, July 3, at Kalamazoo Speedway. The partnership will provide local families facing daily challenges related to health-related illnesses, disabilities, and special needs with a memorable evening celebrating America's 250th birthday.
Based in Three Rivers, Michigan, Rev 4 Hope Outreach is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for children with health-related illnesses, disabilities, and special needs. Through community outreach, fundraising, partnerships, and family-centered programs, the organization works to improve the quality of life for children and their families.
As part of the partnership, Rev 4 Hope Outreach will bring several local families to enjoy the excitement of stock car racing from the Kalamazoo Speedway Party Deck during one of the track's biggest events of the season. Families will experience an evening featuring 250 laps of feature racing, special activities, and a spectacular fireworks display celebrating America's 250th birthday.
"Our mission has always been centered around creating meaningful experiences and support for children and families who face challenges every day," said Frank Dettmar, President of Rev 4 Hope Outreach. "We are incredibly grateful to Great Lakes Racing Promotions and Kalamazoo Speedway for opening their doors to these families. For many of these children, opportunities like this create lasting memories and provide a chance to simply enjoy being a kid. We look forward to sharing a special evening with some truly deserving families."
The 'Merica Night at the Zoo 250 is expected to be one of the premier events of the 2026 season, featuring the Street Stocks racing for $2,000 to win, National Compact Touring Series competing for $1,000 to win, MCR Dwarf Cars, Hornets racing for $400 to win, and the High School Racing Association. The evening will conclude with one of the area's largest fireworks displays.
"Racing has always been about family, community, and creating memories," said Drew Jach, Promoter of Great Lakes Racing Promotions. "When we learned about the incredible work Rev 4 Hope Outreach is doing for children and families throughout our region, partnering with them for this event was an easy decision. We are honored to welcome these families to Kalamazoo Speedway and hope this night provides smiles, excitement, and memories that will last a lifetime."
Rev 4 Hope Outreach was founded in early 2026 by a group of dedicated individuals who envisioned a more child-centered approach to supporting families. The organization's board members and volunteers are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children throughout Southwest Michigan and beyond.
The 'Merica Night at the Zoo 250 takes place Friday, July 3, at Kalamazoo Speedway. Gates open at 1:30 p.m., practice begins at 3:45 p.m., and racing starts at 7:00 p.m.
