High School Girls 9:00 am EASTERN time

High School Boys 9:30 am EASTERN time

JV Race TBA 10:00 am Boys/Girls could run separate or combined (depends on entries) EASTERN time

Middle School Girls 10:30 am EASTERN time

Middle School Boys 11:00 am EASTERN time

Each race will start immediately following the conclusion of the previous race.



COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Course is located at Crawford County High School.

Crawford County is the host site for the 2026 IHSAA Regional.

The Course is a “cross country course” and is accurate in distance, consists of rolling to hilly terrain, sharp turns and wooded sections.

Distance markers are located at every mile and every 1000 meters & each mile.

5:45 p.m. (Eastern Time) Coaches Meeting
6:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) Girls Race
6:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) Boys Race

AWARDS:
Individual Ribbons for Top 40 places, Top 10 individuals will receive individual medals & Team Ribbons to 1st through 3rd place. Top 2 Teams will receive trophies.

SCORING:
The top five runners will be used to tabulate the score. Top 7 runners from each team will be used to figure out the overall team scores for all teams.

COURSE INFO:
The Forest Park Cross Country Course is located at Cedar Crest Intermediate School. The course is a “cross country course”. The course consists of 2500 meters in the woods with a dirt surface and 2500 meters in a field with a grass surface. The course is of accurate distance, consisting of rolling hills with a fair running surface. Distance markers are located at every 1000 meters and every mile. The course consists of 2 complete laps with the third lap consisting of about 400 meters to the finish line.

6:40 pm EASTERN TIME: Women's Race Begins (5,000 Meters)*

7:20 pm EASTERN TIME: Men's Race Begins (5,000 Meters)*

*The KHSAA has regulations regarding the heat index. If the heat index is too great, we will switch each race to 4,000 meters in duration. This will be discussed at the Coaches Meeting and if a change is to take effect, it will be announced at that time.

*There will be no JV or Reserve race. Each team may enter as many athletes as they would like.
