Founded in Jackson, TN, VSS Dance began as a humble dance studio with a vision to provide exceptional dance education and foster a love for the performing arts in the community. Over the years, the studio grew into a vibrant hub for students of all ages, offering a wide range of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop. The studio was initially led by Valarie Spragins, whose d

edication and passion for dance helped shape VSS Dance into a beloved institution. Under her guidance, the studio became known for its commitment to nurturing talent and providing high-quality instruction in a supportive environment. Valarie’s leadership also saw the introduction of innovative programs such as inclusive dance classes and competitive dance. As the new Artistic Director and owner, Grayson has embraced the legacy of excellence and is dedicated to continuing the studio’s tradition of fostering creativity and inclusivity. Today, VSS Dance remains a cornerstone of the Jackson community, celebrated for its rich history, exceptional instruction, and commitment to empowering dancers of all ages.

Hip Hop at VSS DANCE is where dancers learn to take up space, perform with confidence, and bring their own style to every move. From our youngest dancers to our oldest, we encourage every student to step out of their comfort zone and into their confidence.
