Today, Tennessee mourns the loss of one of its greatest champions.

Dolly Parton was more than a legendary musician and entertainer. She was a champion for children, education, literacy, and the simple belief that every child deserves the opportunity to dream.

Through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, millions of children have received books, encouragement, and a reason to believe that their dreams are possible. That legacy has reached right here in Jackson and across West Tennessee, where local children and families have benefited from the program she inspired.

Dolly had no direct connection to Jackson Boom, but she was part of something bigger than any one organization or community. She was a Tennessean who used her platform to invest in the next generation.

At Jackson Boom, we believe in that same responsibility: invest in our children, give them opportunities, and help them dream bigger.

Today, we join our fellow Tennesseans in remembering Dolly Parton — a true community pillar whose impact will continue through generations.

Jackson Boom & DS EduSoccer would like to congratulate Cienciano on an historic 6–1 victory over Brazilian powerhouse Botafogo in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana Round of 16.

The victory is especially meaningful to us because our Sporting Director, Daniel Ferreyra, proudly wore the Cienciano shirt during his professional career and served as captain and leader of the club.

Daniel’s history with Cienciano is an important part of his legacy as a professional goalkeeper, and we are proud to see his former club make history on the international stage.

Jackson Boom, its President and Board of Directors, are deeply saddened by the passing of Jorge Messi, father of Lionel Messi.

As an institution with strong ties to Argentine fútbol and a deep respect for its traditions, our club joins the fútbol community in mourning this loss.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Lionel, his family, and all those who loved Jorge during this difficult time.

From Tennessee to Argentina, our thoughts are with the Messi family.

FROM WEST TENNESSEE TO THE NATIONAL STAGE.

Jackson Boom is proud to congratulate Caleb Ferguson on his selection to the US Youth Soccer South Region Olympic Development Program (ODP) Regional Team.

The 14-year-old Crockett County High School standout continues to make remarkable strides in his development. Earlier this summer, Caleb made his USL League Two debut with Jackson Boom in the club’s final match of the season. He then traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he earned selection to the South Region ODP Team after competing against many of the region’s top young players.

Caleb will now travel to Orlando, Florida, representing Tennessee alongside the best players from the 12 US Youth Soccer South Region state associations—Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Texas, and South Texas—as he continues his pursuit of a place in the US Youth Soccer ODP National Pool.

This is more than an individual achievement—it’s another milestone for soccer in West Tennessee and a testament to what can happen when talent meets relentless work ethic, commitment, and opportunity.

Congratulations, Caleb! Your Jackson Boom family is proud of you and can’t wait to see what comes next.

🚨 OFFICIAL CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

After several days of scouting reports, negotiations, and a few jars of honey… we’re excited to announce the signing of ReelFoot, the black bear that’s been hanging around Jackson! 🐻🖊️

ReelFoot has officially started his trial as the newest Jackson Boom mascot.

So far, he’s shown:
🐾 Great strength in the final third.
🐾 Elite speed through the woods.
🐾 An undefeated record against picnic baskets.
🐾 A healthy appetite after training.

The coaching staff is still evaluating his first touch, but we can confirm he has excellent pawsession.
