From the Academy to the Regional Stage.

Jackson Boom is proud to congratulate Caleb Furgeson and Michael Franz, both Jackson Boom USL League 2 players and members of our Jackson Boom Academy 2011 team, on being selected by Tennessee ODP to attend the South Region ODP ID event.

This achievement represents years of dedication, sacrifice, and a commitment to becoming better every single day. Being invited to compete among the top players in the Southern United States is a tremendous honor and another example of the pathway being built at Jackson Boom.

Our mission has always been bigger than winning games. We are creating an environment where local players can dream bigger, train at a higher level, compete against the best, and continue their journey from the Academy to pre-professional soccer and beyond.

Congratulations Caleb and Michael. You represent our club, our city, and the future of soccer in West Tennessee.

A new chapter begins.

Jackson Boom Academy is proud to join the National 1 League—the top team-based competition within US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer and part of a unified national platform integrated with the ECNL.

This achievement reflects the dedication of our players, coaches, families, and supporters. It represents our commitment to raising the standard of soccer in Jackson and providing our athletes the opportunity to compete, grow, and succeed at the highest levels.

At Jackson Boom, the pathway is real.

Last night, 15-year-old Michael Franz made his USL League Two debut against one of the league’s premier clubs, Little Rock Rangers.

Just weeks removed from completing his freshman year of high school, Michael stepped onto the field alongside and against NCAA Division I and Division II collegiate athletes, gaining invaluable experience at a level few players his age ever reach.

This is exactly why Jackson Boom exists: to create opportunities, accelerate development, and provide ambitious players with a clear pathway to the next level.

From youth academy soccer to competing against some of the best collegiate talent in the country, Michael’s debut is another example of what is possible when talent, commitment, and opportunity come together.

Congratulations, Michael. The journey is just beginning.

The World Cup is here.

Over the coming weeks, we encourage every Jackson Boom Academy player and family to watch as many matches as possible. There is no greater classroom for a young soccer player than watching the world’s best compete on the biggest stage.

Study the game. Watch the movement, decision-making, teamwork, and passion. Learn from the players who have dedicated their lives to reaching this moment.

Many of the stars competing today were once young players sitting at home watching the World Cup and dreaming of representing their country. Today, they are living that dream.

Who knows? Maybe one day we will all be watching a Jackson Boom player compete on soccer’s biggest stage.

Enjoy the tournament and celebrate the beautiful game.
