🎣 Who’s ready to chase some BIG bass? 🎣

The Jackson County Outdoor Club Bass Fishing Tournament is almost here and we’re looking for anglers ready to hit the water! 🐟🔥

📅 Saturday, June 27th, 2026
💲 $30 Per Boat
🕕 Check-In: 6:00 AM
🚤 Take Off: 7:00 AM
⏰ Tournament Ends: 12:00 PM

🏆 Compete for:
• Largest Bass
• Highest Overall Weight

Whether you’re fishing for bragging rights, prizes, or just a great morning on the lake with friends, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

⚠️ Important Reminder:
• Maximum of 2 people per boat
• Each boat must have at least one registered JCOC member if bringing a guest
• Minimum of 5 boats registered required to hold the tournament

Open to the public every Thursday from 6 PM until dusk!

Bring out your traditional muzzleloaders and enjoy an evening of black powder shooting with fellow enthusiasts.

✅ Open ignition & iron sights only
❌ No inlines
❌ No scopes

Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or just enjoy the tradition of black powder, come join us for a great night on the range.

💲 Non-club member cost: $5
📍 Must sign in at the front gate.

We’re getting closer to the Jackson County Outdoor Club Bass Fishing Tournament and registrations are starting to come in!

If you’re planning to fish, now is the time to get signed up so we can make sure we have enough boats registered to run the event! 🐟

📅 Tournament Date: Saturday, June 27th, 2026

Congratulations to Jacob on a strong finish at the S3DA State Championships!

Jacob earned 8th Place finish in the Boys Youth Open Class while representing the Jackson County Outdoor Club Straight Shooters team!

From the practice range to the competition course, Jacob showed focus, determination, and sportsmanship every step of the way. We are proud of the hard work he put in this season and excited to see him continue to grow in the sport of archery.

Please help us congratulate Anna on earning a 5th Place finish in the Girls Youth Open Class at the S3DA State Championships!

From long practice days to competition pressure, Anna showed determination, grit, and focus on the range while proudly representing Jackson County Outdoor Club. We are incredibly proud of her hard work and growth this season!

What an amazing accomplishment for Agnes!

At her very first S3DA State Championship, Agnes brought home a 1st Place finish in the Junior Eagle Open Class!

We couldn’t be more proud of the determination, confidence, and hard work she showed while representing the Jackson County Outdoor Club Straight Shooters team. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where her archery journey takes her next!

Congratulations Straight Shooters!

Today, our team proudly represented the Jackson County Outdoor Club at the S3DA State Championships, and we couldn’t be more proud of their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship.

From long practice nights to competition day nerves, these young archers continue to show what determination and teamwork look like. Thank you for representing JCOC with pride both on and off the range!
