This team is amazing!! We came out a little rocky to start today and got our selves in a hole to battle in the heat 90+ degrees with heat index to play 5 games to end up runners up in the gold bracket- our bomb squad just ran out of steam from being on the field for 4 games back to back to fall up short by 2 runs on the championship game. These girls showed up and showed out once we decided to wake up after that 1st game!! I am so proud of my Lake Murray Bomb Squad girls today!!
Our coaching staff is proud of each one of these young ladies today! Yes we hade errors, yes we had strike outs but this team fought til the end and never gave up!!
Can’t wait til our next tournament to see young ladies in action!!
