On Friday I got to combine two of my passions in one place - teaching barre3 + The Plan! My dear friend Lauren invited me to her studio, cheered on my planners as we popped up in her lobby, and then let me lead a sweaty barre3 class to finish our morning. Training is so important to us because we want to make barre3 the best possible experience for our clients. Our instructors meet quarterly to keep their classes fresh, grow as a team and push themselves to new levels as instructors. We recently had our end of the year workshop where we focused on B3 core- glutes and core. Our instructors take notes, videos and share tips to make our classes the very best. They always talk about “nerding” out in postures, sequencing and music. They all love it and it shows in each and every class.

What do you do for work and play?
“I feel so fortunate that my work and my play are synonymous! I own my own business, Tenfold Collective. It's a boutique dedicated to connecting mindful shoppers to small makers and artisans from around the world! We sell lots of amazing jewelry, home decor, gift items, and fair trade clothing. My hope is that people begin to learn more about how the items they buy are made and the impact that is possible when we purchase with purpose. We are a giveback brand dedicated to starting conversations around human trafficking- a portion of our profits go back to Lighthouse for Life and the International Justice Mission. I really care deeply about building community and a unique shopping experience for our customers.”

Life beyond the barre?
“My favorite past time is to watch any baseball games my kids are playing in. I am a boy mom through and through (identical twins-16 and an 11 yr old). I also love to travel and have been known to book a flight on a whim after a few glasses of champs!”

Fav posture?
“My favorite B3 posture is powerleg. It makes me feel strong and I know when I am not shaking my heels aren't high enough!”

Why do you consider yourself B3Strong?
“I consider myself B3strong because I have never left that studio feeling any other way. B3 has completely reshaped my body, but more importantly it allows me to show up for myself. I also love that I can see myself doing this long term- there are people in my class younger than me and older than me...truly multi-generational. That may be my favorite thing about this community. “
