My health journey started several years ago. I worked full time hours, had two busy toddlers, and being healthy was the least of my worries. I realized how little energy I had to keep up with my two kiddos and how I constantly felt like garbage. I didn't enjoy the same activities like I used to because I couldn't keep up. I knew that I had to make a change, and I worked damn hard to get there. I prioritized healthier eating habits, purchased the gym membership, and drank all of the water in place of soda. I made it my goal and felt great. I trained for a couple of races, I was able the shred the mountain again with confidence, and after many years started martial arts again thanks to Omens Martial Arts. Then I injured my back and things stalled for a bit. It was frustrating, and I felt a little defeated. Currently, I'm not 100 percent where I was in 2025, but I haven't let that set back stop me from pursuing my dreams. I realized over the last year that I love helping people. I recognized, in myself, something that I wasn't familiar with...a desire to coach and get kids, adults, and anyone to the point of being proud of themselves and pushing themselves to feel better. Life is meant to be enjoyed. My dad taught me grit and perseverance. I try hard to instill that in my kids and wife, and I know that I can help others reach their potential, too.
