Got on the course for the first time in like 5 months yesterday. Got a lot of rust to shake off, but glad it’s that time of year.

Apologies for forgetting to add the arrow on the putt (read was inside left edge). I pushed it anyway lol.

A huge (belated) congratulations to Christian Brand on his victory at the 92nd West Virginia Golf Association West Virginia Open. It has been a privilege to collaborate and exchange ideas with Christian regarding his swing and his game.

Most of all, I am so proud of my friend for continuing to compete how he does. Love ya, brotha.

One year ago, came to me just as I was getting settled in Milwaukee and at .

He said he wanted to get better, and was committed to doing whatever it took.

The first slide is one of the first swings I saw him make.

I told him, honestly, that we had to change absolutely everything. And he was down to do it.

Through 1 year, I have had no one work harder. And that’s why he’s gotten better. He’s worked his ass off, had an open mind and willingness to learn, and kept a great attitude through the struggles and bad days.

The second slide is Chad hitting it closer than me with that very same 7 iron during a playing lesson today.

Chad, thank you for your trust, your tireless work ethic through every session, and your friendship. Just scratching the surface, brotha!

Had a great time working with today! He showed some crazy improvement in just an hour. Turning some pulls and weak cuts into nice push draws.

We worked on some changes at setup, a proper pressure shift, and some downswing feels, all focusing on getting him more “ahead” of the ball at impact and approaching the ball from the inside.

But I don’t need to talk about it, you can see the results!

PJ has a bright future in the game if he works hard! Couldn’t believe he only picked up the game earlier this year!
