As of December 2007 Over The Edge Hurricane has been providing awesome for 10 years. We love being in Hurricane UT, close to amazing trail systems like Gooseberry Mesa, Guacamole, and the Hurricane Cliffs AKA JEM Trail system. High Country Update:
The Brian Head bike park opens this weekend and we will be there on Saturday. Thanks to a lot of hard work by Jeff from Brian Head Shuttle, Georg's Ski Shop, the Forest Service and a bunch of volunteers, Dark Hollow, Bunker Creek and Blow Hard are all good to go. There are a couple of caveats, though. Dark Hollow is "pretty chunky" and the bottom three miles of the road was recently graded and is dangerous moon dust. Blow Hard still has a few downed trees near the top so we recommend pedaling up from the parking lot to the power lines and starting from there. It's looking like a great weekend to be in the mountains. We'll see you out there!

It's starting to get hot in Hurricane so this week's Saturday will be a Cedar City shuttle. We'll start with C Trail and descend to Lava Link, Boneyard and then Breaks or Tombstone and finish at the Southview trailhead. If you'd like to join us, the van will be leaving the shop at 9 AM and meeting again at the Southview trailhead to organize the shuttle at about 9:45. See you mañana!

It's starting to get hot and we want to remind everyone to think about hydration. In our desert environment, you really need to stay on top of your water and electrolyte intake. Dropping into the weekend - thanks to continued cool weather, this week's Saturday will be at Little Creek Mesa. This is OTE HU service manager Eddie, hitting an extra credit line at Little Creek this time last year. If you'd like to ride Little Creek with the locals, meet us at the shop in the morning and we'll carpool out to the trailhead at 10 AM. If you'd rather meet us at Little Creek, we should be there at about 10 :45. See you mañana!
