TWO YEARS. TWO STATE CHAMPIONS. ONE PUMPKIN MASTER!

Well, folks, Jared Persinger has done it again! For the second year in a row, South Plymouth Pumpkins has grown the largest pumpkin in Ohio at the Operation Pumpkin Festival in Hamilton!

Growing pumpkins like these takes a whole lot of knowledge, patience, hard work, and a little pumpkin magic. We think it’s safe to say we have a true pumpkin master right here at South Plymouth Pumpkins!

So when you’re looking for the perfect pumpkin this fall, come see us at South Plymouth Pumpkins! From little pumpkins to big ones, you’ll find plenty of fall favorites grown right here by an Ohio state champion grower.

Come pick your pumpkin from the farm that grows them BIG!

What a day! From climbing higher and getting a little dirty to pushing past our comfort zones, this year’s Crops & Cows 5K Challenge Course was one to remember.

There were plenty of muddy shoes, tired legs, big smiles, and a whole lot of grit. Most of all, we saw people challenge themselves, try something new, and discover they could do more than they thought.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a fun day on the farm. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again in 2027!

RACE DAY PHOTOS ARE HERE!

We finally have ALL the pictures from race day uploaded to the RunSignUp Crops & Cows 5K Challenge Course page.

It may have been rainy, muddy, slippery, messy, and just a tiny bit ridiculous out there on the farm — but it was also SO MUCH FUN!

There were smiles, laughs, determination, and enough mud to make sure nobody left looking quite the way they arrived.

But that’s what makes race day special. These are the moments and memories that stick with you — the kind that have you laughing about it afterward and thinking, “That was crazy… when can we do it again?”

Thank you to everyone who came out, embraced the mud, and made it such a memorable day!

A HUGE THANK YOU to our Planning Committee & Volunteers! And an even BIGGER THANK YOU to South Plymouth Pumpkins and the John Persinger family for opening their beautiful farm and allowing the Fayette, County Farm Bureaus to bring Crops & Cows to life on their property. We are so grateful for their generosity, hospitality and willingness to share their farm with our community!

Crops & Cows doesn’t happen without the amazing people behind the scenes who spend weeks planning, building, organizing, setting up, directing, cheering, cleaning up and doing whatever needed to be done. Our planning committee and volunteers showed up, got muddy and made it happen!

Through the rain, the mud and all the unexpected challenges, you kept things moving and kept the fun going.

We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. This event truly is a community effort, and you are what makes Crops & Cows so special!

Thank you for getting a little dirty with us!
