The 25-26 athletics season officially came to an end on Sunday afternoon with the conclusion of the Division 2 state track meet. At the state meet, MT was represented by 2 relay teams and 1 individual on the podium with another individual just missing state placement. This was the best representation for our girls track team in the history of our program. Congratulations to all our boys and girls state track meet participants!!!
With the official conclusion of the athletic year, it is time to look back at the year that was.
- Our varsity sports teams were a combined 175-89 in FAC competition for a 66.2% win percentage
- MTHS had 4 conference championship programs with several program finishing as FAC runners-up
- Girls Volleyball - Co-Champions (4th consecutive)
- Boys Basketball - Champions (3rd consecutive)
- Girls Wrestling - Champions
- Girls Track - Champions
- 60 MTHS athletes were recognized as either All FAC or Honorable Mention All FAC by league coaches
- Volleyball was District Runners-Up, 2 gymnasts qualified for the state meet, Girls Wrestling finished as runners-up in the opening round of team tournament competition, Boys Basketball won their 2nd consecutive "Gold" basketball, and Girls Track was District Champions among many other athletic program highlights.
