We had an absolute blast at our Libero Camp, and because of the response and level of athletes in the gym, we’re bringing it back.

If you want to be considered for the next camp, comment INVITE and we’ll send you the application form.

This camp is designed for serious liberos, DS athletes and 6 rotation pins at the varsity and collegiate level who are competitive, coachable, and looking to sharpen both their skills and their mindset.

We had an absolutely incredible two days with these young ladies in the building.

There was a lot of learning, a lot of growth, and a lot of failing forward.

One of the biggest themes of this camp was the libero mindset and the athlete mindset of allowing ourselves to fail, grow from it, and learn from it instead of focusing on it. Too many athletes spend their energy thinking about mistakes instead of asking, “What can I learn from this rep?”

The best athletes are not the ones who never fail. They’re the ones who learn the fastest and keep moving forward.

What an amazing two days of energy, effort, and learning. We are so, so grateful to have shared this experience with these athletes and their families.

The future is bright. ❤️🏐

Most youth athletes are simply not taught blocking.

Not the mindset.
Not the how.
Not the why.

They’re told to jump and put their hands up, then hope for the best.

Blocking was always a huge passion of mine as a player. There is nothing like getting a big block in a match.

The truth is, blocking is actually pretty simple, but you have to build the right fundamentals first. Learning how to move, control your body, press, and understand why you’re doing what you’re doing goes a long way.

That’s exactly why I created this course.

Perfect for youth athletes, parents helping their athlete, and coaches working with developing players.

Most youth athletes are not really even taught how to block. They just jump up and hope for the best. This includes setters, who have to be some of the strongest blockers since they block the outside hitter.

Unfortunately, the majority of kids that I see are jumping with their hips forward and arms back. And simply, blocking always comes in as an afterthought in practices, and nobody really takes the time to teach the fundamentals.

So I made this course: body- footwork and blocking mindset.

It can be done at home. It can be done with a net in the gym. It’s simply about learning how to control your body, how to press, and becoming aware of what your body does.

Some athletes are talented.
Some athletes change the entire energy of a gym.
turnley.vb.2028 is both.

I would take this kid on ANY team, at ANY point in my life. Period.

Beyond the athleticism — running track, competing in beach and indoor volleyball — Emory is the type of athlete every coach prays walks through the door. Genuine. Kind. Tough. Coachable. Relentless worker. Full support of her teammates. Full effort every single day.

And the best part?
No entitlement. No drama. Just work.

I’ve known her for 5 years now, and watching her growth has been incredible. The scary part is she’s only scratching the surface of what she can become over the next few years.

College coaches — keep your eyes on this libero. She’s the type of athlete that elevates programs, cultures, and people around her.

Athletes like this are a reminder that talent matters… but character, consistency, and work ethic still win in the long run. Always have. Always will.

I love using this drill with teams or athletes who already have a decent level of ball control. Obviously, you can scale it down or scale it up, and there’s an entire progression to it. You can add all the bells and whistles you want, so get creative with it.

One thing I like to do is let the athletes decide the number they want to reach without the ball dropping. That’s when it gets real interesting. Because when the going gets tough, the tough get going.

Pressure exposes everything — communication, discipline, leadership, effort, composure. And that’s exactly why I love it.

If you’re in town for the summer and want to train and compete alongside varsity and collegiate players, hit me up. We work on all things technique, mindset, leadership, communication, and learning how to actually play the game at a high level.
