Pitching in the championship game we had Easton, Reed and Colton.

Hype made it to the championship game!
Our pitchers have been throwing strikes and getting the outs. (Axton Franke, Reed Wardrip, (our lefty)Keegan Kelly, and Easton Benham).
Easton hit a home run getting 3 runs on our second game.
We even got a video of our 3rd baseball doing a pre game dance. 🕺🏻

Day 1 Pool play HYPE went 2-0.

Game 1: Hype Vs. Richland County Rebels 8-2
Players of the game: Colton and Greyson for some amazing pitching!

Game 2: Hype Vs. Z20 Bats 3-0
Players of the game: Colton for snagging some amazing air balls getting the puts we needed, and Owen for outstanding pitching for the whole game. During one ending O pitched 7 times and getting the 3 outs needed.

First, I want to thank all of our parents! If it wasn’t for you making sure your boys make it to practice and put in the work we wouldn’t be where we are.

Second, everyone of these boys showed up this weekend. They played some great ball. We are all so proud of each of them. Fought hard, but come up short in the championship game, leaving as RUN FOR THE RINGS FINALIST!

Lastly, we have to take a moment to recognize these four boys!

Reed for his double play (looked great kid)
Gunner for his great bunts (especially when we needed them the most)
Owen for his baseball awareness (getting ball in to second from outfield for a force out)
Easton for his out of the park home RUNS (yes more than one)

It was truly a great weekend for baseball and our MC HYPE boys!
