I took my itty bitty pancake b***y to borderline needing a CDL when out on the road so imma teach you how you’re going to get that same level of delusionšŸ˜‚

These are 3 exercises I would keep in my weekly routine without fail to do that.

Don’t make the same mistake I did constantly switching up your workouts just following what was trending or the newest workout routine from your favorite influencer.

Stick to the basics and instead of switching up the workouts every week, focus on progressive overload on the SAME exercises.
This means more reps/weight over time (even if it’s just 5lbs!)

May you were a great month🌺

Eliminating distractions was the goal for the last few months and I truly realized how our habits are built without even realizing it.

-I tried to wake up without checking my phone first (wasn’t successful many days because of habit)

-Starting my day with saying to myself ā€œtoday is going to be a great dayā€ and shift my mindset towards this no matter what was going on in my day.

-Got out of my routine as much as possible as this is what refills my cup and keeps life exciting for me.

-Focused on relationships and building new ones which is so good for the soul (as more of a naturally introvert person this is hard for me).

May was a great month and here’s to building new and better habits:
My main focus is still getting away from my phone, not checking it when I’m bored and spending more time journaling.

June is going to be a great monthšŸ’•

I’m rediscovering how to stay focused in a chaotic, hard chapter of my life.

It’s easier to stay disciplined when everything is going right.
What’s hard is staying disciplined and focused when life isn’t going as planned and your mind is distracted with other things.

I’m relearning how to stay focused and it’s been hard I will admit.
Most days I feel like I’m falling short but what’s important is you don’t fall into a guilt cycle as this is where you start to fail.

You feel guilty the day didn’t go as planned so you neglect the rest of the day or even the week.
Everyday is a fresh start to just do your best.

Keep your goals simple during this time but don’t let off the gas.

A 30 minute workout is better then nothing.
A 15 minute walk is better then nothing.
Missing a day but showing up the next is better than nothing.
Changing the plan is better than giving up.

If you can be resilient during the hardest times then you’ve won, these are the ones that countšŸ’•
