Here’s how I know in 30 seconds whether you’re going to follow through on your goal or not. I look at how you wrote it.
So much of the time, the way we write our goals tells me whether or not you know what it looks like when it’s DONE. A goal you’ll follow through on has a strong, clear action verb and a finite timeframe.
“Launch my podcast by March 31” is a goal.
“Work on my podcast” isn’t.
Then I look at your emotion around it. When you read it back, is it excitement rather than dread?
If the wording is clear, there’s an end date, and it excites you, I already know you’re going to do it.
👉🏼 Look at one of your goals. Does it excite you? And do you know what “done” looks like?
