As fellow teammates. As good friends. We are heartbroken at the loss of Leon Mican. He was one of a kind, and the loss is palpable to our family. And to the bowling community. The world is less bright today.

With great sadness, we share the passing of our beloved Leon.

Leon was an integral part of this community, touching the lives of so many with his presence, kindness, and silly spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

We are planning a community celebration of Leon’s life, where all who knew him are welcome to come together, share memories, and honor the impact he had on our lives. Details will be shared at a later date.

It is with broken hearts that we again share the loss of one of our own. Robert Dorr, a cherished member of our Greenmount Bowl family, passed away on May 21st.

Bob fought liver cancer with a strength and determination that inspired everyone around him. He was a fighter in every sense of the word, and he faced his battle with the same grit he brought to the game he loved.

To those of us who shared lanes, laughs, and good times with Bob, he was irreplaceable. A familiar face, a steady competitor, and a genuinely good soul who made this place feel like home.

This week, when you step up to the line, take a moment to bowl one in Bob’s honor. Let it be a tribute to a man who never stopped fighting and never stopped showing up.

Rest easy, Bob. You will be missed by our entire community. ❤️

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Richard Allen Beyer - a beloved member of our Greenmount Bowl family.

Richard lost his brave fight against esophageal cancer on May 25th. For so many of us, he was simply part of the fabric of this place - a quiet yet steady presence on the lanes, a competitor who made the game more enjoyable just by showing up.
