The Life Center We are a non-profit devoted to the health of Greenville County in spirit, mind, and body.

For more than a century, the YMCA of Greenville has strengthened the foundations of the community we serve. We're proud of our diverse population, and are passionate about keeping our promise to be a force for good. We serve people from all walks of life in the Greenville County area through YMCA memberships and programs. The YMCA of Greenville is a 501(c)3 nonprofit governed by a local board of volunteer directors. OUR PURPOSE

🏊 POOL CLOSURE NOTICE

Our pool will be closed Thursday, 9/17 through Sunday, 9/20 for needed repairs and maintenance. We anticipate reopening Monday, 9/21 at 5:00 a.m.

Looking to swim while our pool is closed? Your YMCA of Greenville membership gives you access to all other YMCA of Greenville locations. Visit ymcagreenville.org/locations to find another Y with a pool near you.

Welcoming Week 2026 The “Where Every Neighbor Belongs” Place

Welcoming Week is a national celebration, led by Welcoming America, that brings neighbors together to build connections and celebrate what makes our communities stronger. It highlights the power of belonging and creates opportunities for people from all backgrounds to connect.

For 175 years in the U.S., the Y has been a place where people come to find connection and belonging. Welcoming Week is an annual initiative that strengthens this legacy by creating intentional opportunities for neighbors to meet, share experiences and build relationships while getting to know one another and celebrating what unites us.

The YMCA of Greenville will do this through simple and fun activities around the Life Center YMCA designed to spark conversations. Stop by our world map to mark your country of origin or heritage.
