Wow, what a season! We have so much to be proud of. We ended the fall season second in our division, made it to playoffs, and put in hard work at the pitch to get better every week.

Although we didn’t advance in the playoffs, we showed what WWRFC rugby is all about: playing as a team, lifting each other up, and representing our club with pride. We couldn’t be more proud of the effort, heart, and sportsmanship this team brought to the pitch.

&A big congratulations to our Players of the Match! You all earned it!

Great season, WWRFC! See you in the spring! ❤️🏉

Patiently awaiting playoffs like…

Shoutout to Badger Kings Rugby Co. for capturing some great moments of our Saturdays at the pitch.

We have been putting in the work for preparing for playoffs this weekend. We’re so proud of where this season took us - but we’re not done yet. Stay tuned to hear who WWRFC will be taking on!

It’s a big day tomorrow - last game of our regular season AND our Tackle-A-Thon! Come watch some competitive rugby and support a good cause for the amazing non-profit, GSafe! 🌈

Put it all out there tomorrow on the pitch tomorrow, WWRFC!

MENAGERIE JOINS THE CAUSE! ‼️‼️‼️

Rugby is about more than what happens on the field - it’s about community, inclusion, and showing up for one another. This year, both teams are joining forces for our Tackle-A-Thon to raise funds for GSAFE, a local nonprofit working to create safer, more affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth in our Madison community.

WWRFC & Menagerie are coming together to put our tackles toward something bigger than the game and support a cause that matters. Every donation helps make a difference.

The link is here or in our bio, and can be used to donate on behalf of either team. Let’s get those fundraising numbers up! 🌈

Volunteering for a good cause! Last month, we had a great time helping out this past weekend at UW Carbone Center’s Badger Challenge. Congrats to all of the runners, walkers, and bikers that participated, including our own teammate Britta! Our volunteers helped out at the finish line, congratulating and offering hydration to the athletes that crossed the finish line. We are grateful for the opportunity to help our community and to be part of a team both on and off the field!
