While we’re disappointed not to race, the safety of our riders always comes first.

🏁 What a night! 🏁

Our Open Ride was a huge success!

It was great to see riders back on the track and get a first look at all of the improvements taking shape at Hugo’s Raceway. While we still have a few finishing touches ahead of us, tonight was a big step toward opening day.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, riders, and families for your patience and support throughout this process.

We’re excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to get the 2026 season underway! 🔥🚲

⚠️ Race Day Update ⚠️

Due to the potential for very serious severe weather this evening, we have made the decision to cancel racing and move to an Open Ride format instead.

The safety of our riders, families, volunteers, and staff is our top priority. Open riding will allow everyone the opportunity to get some laps in while giving us the flexibility to clear the facility quickly if weather conditions deteriorate.

A few reminders:

• Please use caution around the facility as we continue work on several exciting upgrades.• Bring your own chair tonight.• Please enter the concessions and registration area from the north side of the building and stay clear of the fresh concrete.• Please stay on the gravel and avoid walking on any concrete areas.• Parents and non-riders, please stay off the track whenever riders and bikes are present.

🚲 New Rider?Come take advantage of a FREE one-day trial! We have loaner bikes and helmets available. Just bring long pants and a long-sleeve shirt.

We will continue monitoring the weather throughout the evening and will make adjustments as needed.

A huge thank you to Justin Miller and the team at PRO GATE for this incredible upgrade at Hugo’s Raceway!

Our brand-new gate system is officially installed and brings a whole new level of reliability, performance, and flexibility to our track. One of the best features is the ability to operate either fully electric or on air, giving us multiple options to keep racing moving no matter the situation.

We’re excited to see our riders launch off this gate for years to come as we continue investing in the future of Red River BMX and Hugo’s Raceway.

🏁 OPENING DAY ANNOUNCEMENT 🏁

Tuesday, June 9th!

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we put the finishing touches on some major improvements at Hugo’s Raceway. The wait is almost over, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the track!

This offseason has brought some huge upgrades, including a newly redesigned start hill, a brand-new ProGate starting system, and our new registration and concessions building. These projects are all about creating a better experience for our riders, families, and fans.

🚲 New Rider League will kick off on Sunday, June 7th for riders looking to learn the basics and get started in BMX racing.

🏁 Opening Race Night: Tuesday, June 9th
⏰ Registration: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
🏁 Racing Begins: Approximately 7:15 PM

2026 Pricing
• Class: $11
• Cruiser: $9
• Practice: $7

We also plan to make up the two race nights that were missed earlier this season. Additional details on those make-up races will be announced later this year.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who have helped make these improvements possible. We can’t wait to see everyone back at the track!
