Results from last night at Rice Lake Speedway!

Heat Race: 5th to 5th
Dnae was trying to gain a spot or two, but after getting a little loose, she lost some ground. Even so she had settled in and put together a solid run.

Feature: 10th to 10th
The track was a one lane dry slick, making passing extremely difficult. Dnae focused on keeping the car straight, and staying consistent.

It’s becoming more and more visible each race that Dnae is gaining not only car handling experience but also confidence behind the wheel. Last year she struggled a lot with spin outs especially with track conditions that are dry slick and so far she has done awesome.

Race Day at Rice Lake Speedway!
Dnae was slacking and forgot to post a race schedule for this weekend but she didn’t race yesterday anyways as Gondik Law Speedway wasn’t racing and Dnae had a trip to Valley Fair planned!

Recap from the Weekend

Gondik Law speedway
Heat:9th -9th
Dnae had a horrible draw and started last in a stacked Heat. Knowing it was going to be a tough night of competition, this was definitely not where she wanted to start. She worked hard trying to grab the 8th spot but simply ran out of laps.
Feature: 15th to 8th
That put her 15th out of 17 cars for the feature. She got some great starts, made several strong moves early, and raced her way through the field. Dnae had tied for Hard Charger with 7 positions gained!
Proud of the effort and determination she showed all night.

Rice lake Speedway
Heat:1st to 6th(DNF)
Unfortunately due to some contact Dnae got a flat tire and had to pull off
Feature:11th to 13th(DNF)
Before the feature we had made some changes that weren’t the right ones so Dnae was struggling to get the car to stick on the track and had to pull off.

Results from kids night at Rice Lake Speedway!

Heat Race: Started 1st, Finished 3rd
Dnae has had some luck lately drawing the pole, even though starting up front isn’t really her favorite. She still put together a solid run while battling a rough track that she’s not very comfortable with yet.

Feature: Started 3rd, Finished 8th
The feature didn’t quite go the way she hoped. Dnae struggled on the initial start and lost a few spots early, but she kept the car in one piece and brought home another top 10 finish. Not the result she wanted, but she still did good!
