Yoga, most commonly translated as ‘union’, teaches us to connect our mind, body, and spirit. This healing and time-tested practice provides us with extraordinary physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits. This is why yoga is one of the most complete forms of exercise available, it offers not only the physical benefits of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training, but provides the

opportunity for emotional, and spiritual growth as well. At Treetop Yoga Studio, our class schedule features an eclectic combination of instructors with very different training and teaching styles in order to best meet the needs of our diverse community. We recognize that every body is different, and that different types of yoga are appropriate for different people, based on physical condition, injuries or limitations, and body constitution. Most of our classes are mixed levels and our instructors are experienced in teaching all levels of students, safely guiding them through their yoga journeys while providing them with the opportunity to grow. Whether you are looking for a workout, stress alleviation, pain relief, or a deeper exploration of self, our instructors are here to guide you safely to your goal. What we offer:

It’s the first day of Pride Month — and we can’t think of a better way to begin than with this. 🌈

Join Jill Manos at Treetop Yoga for a new monthly q***r practice this summer: a space designed for the q***r community to come together, move, reflect, and explore how we take care of ourselves and each other through whatever is present right now. Through movement, creative contemplation, and open discussion, Jill holds space for whatever you’re carrying. No yoga experience necessary. 🧘🏽‍♂️

Drop-in rate, and free for members. No one will be turned away for inability to pay. Running monthly through the summer on the first Thursday of each month.

We’d love to see you on the mat. Please share with friends and family on Cape Ann who would like to practice with us. 🙏

Something new this summer at Treetop. 🌿

Thursday nights are getting a little more special — we're hosting pop-up classes all season long. Monthly Q***r Practice, Yoga Nidra and Gong Bath, Restorative Listening Lounge with live singing bowls and acoustic guitar. Different every time, always worth showing up for. And if you're a member, these are already included — no extra charge.

Plus we're celebrating the Summer Solstice twice this month: in the studio on the 20th and out by the ocean on the 24th.

Happy Memorial Day, Treetop community.

Monday, we pause to honor and remember. It feels right to show up on the mat, not to escape the weight of it, but to actually feel it. Gratitude, grief, and stillness can all live together in a practice.

Monday Morning Regular Schedule, Evening Classes Cancelled.

No filter. Just a Tuesday morning in our Sun Studio.

A longtime Treetop member said this after class last week. She wasn’t wrong.

Tuesday and Thursday 7am, the sun comes up over Good Harbor and fills this room. The bamboo floors go warm. Erin and Madison lead a flow that will wake you up and ground you before the day even starts. Done by 8. Grab a friend, get coffee after, or walk the beach before the rest of the world shows up.

Your inbox can wait an hour.

Tuesday + Thursday 7–8am. Link in bio to book your spot.

Happy birthday to one of our own. 🎂

Sharon, you have shaped this studio in ways that go far beyond the mat. The students you’ve touched, the teachers you’ve inspired, the space you’ve held — it lives in all of us. Today the whole Treetop community is thinking of you and sending you so much love. 💫

Happy birthday. We love you. 💕

Welcome Wednesday: Meet Zoe

We are thrilled to welcome Zoe Dale to the mat on Wednesdays for 11:00 am Slow Flow & Deep Stretch

“I connected to practicing yoga in my twenties as a way to focus on embodiment and mental wellness. I completed my foundational teacher training in the Kathmandu Valley where love and interest sparked bright, and so I continued to travel through Southeast Asia - working and training in an Ayurvedic clinic, monasteries, retreat centres, and resort settings in Nepal, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. I have accumulated over 350 hours of formal study in Classical Hatha, pre- and post-natal yoga, breathwork, somatic awareness, and traditional Tibetan sound healing. I will always be first and foremost a student, and I hope to always instruct from a standpoint of welcoming + guiding curiosity and openness to exploration through movement and breath. I hope to help foster spiritual and physical alignment with an ultimate aim of providing folks with an opportunity to encounter themselves anew.

My classes are calm + centering, incorporating somatic and breath awareness (with an occasional good laugh), as we explore dynamic movement typical of vinyasa practice as well as classical asana holds.

Carework is now my primary career, as a birth + postpartum doula and general champion of people doing the work of raising the next generation to be kind, responsible, and funny. I uphold humour, community, nature, and soup as some of the best supports. Outside of work, I am very happy reading as many books as possible. I love music, trees, a good roadtrip, and my people.”

Mantra Monday.

Om agnaye namaha — I bow to the fire

Tapas is the inner heat created by self-discipline and conscious effort

The trees don’t rush the leaves. A little warmth, a little time, and something that’s been waiting all winter finally pushes through.

At the studio, we hold the posture and breathe through the shaking muscles. Off the mat — tapas is the moment you stay when leaving would be easier. In a conversation. In a commitment. In a hard season of your life.

Patanjali says practice takes root when it’s done over a long period, without interruption, with care. That’s tapas. Not intensity for intensity’s sake. Willingness, sustained.

This week, notice where the fire shows up for you. On the mat or off it — where are you being asked to stay?

🌱 a little act of kindness this week.

one of our community members noticed some of our plants had outgrown their pots — and without being asked, took them home, repotted them, and brought them back. she even left a few extra plants behind for us to enjoy.

this is what makes this space what it is. the people in it. 🤍

Not just for moms. 🌷

For whoever shows up for you — the friend who talks you off the ledge, the aunt who always picks up, the person who somehow always knows. There are a lot of people who mother us, and if someone like that comes to mind, a Treetop gift certificate is a real way to say it. 💕

A class, a workshop, an hour on the mat.
