May is ALS awareness month and we got to honor Marcus, along with nearly 7,000 other individuals living with or who have lived with ALS, in DC by having his name printed on a flag and displayed at the National Mall. This campaign by I Am ALS is in its 5th year and contributes the amazing advocacy the organization does for people with ALS across the country. We highly recommend following for more information and ways you can help make resources available to those who need them.

We could go on and on with lists of individuals we want to thank for the help they give us, but for now we want to say how grateful we are to our core group of people who made the day run smoothly!
Pat O’Connor graciously donated his time and talent to give us the best music for a fun day!
Morgan Snyder, Donna Snyder, and Tina Soprano put in long hours getting everything organized in the tent, keeping things running and selling tickets all afternoon, and then getting everyone squared away with winning raffles and auctions before helping to pack everything up. Phew, we’re tired just thinking about it all!
And of course, Kevin Weaver kept those beers flowing and the vibes strong!
Thank you all! The event wouldn’t have been a success without all of you!

We. Are. Speechless. Every year we get to announce that we beat the previous years number, but this year is so far beyond we don’t have the words to say much except THANK YOU!
This community raised $78,824 (we love it when the 24 just shows up on its own) and all the proceeds will be going to the St. Peter’s ALS Center so they can continue to help other through this disease, and to Marcus as he navigates living with all the complications ALS brings to his life.
