Today marked a small personal victory and we had someone very special drop by to help us celebrate.
We are officially up and running, not full capacity yet but all of our equipment, electrical and A/C is all powered up and we're filling orders once again. James from Jibbs Jigs LLC stopped by to check out our new shop, talk jigs and sample the fish at Catfish Johnnie's. It was a great day.
A big shout out to our customers, thank you for being patient during our move. And a huge thank you for supporting us and allowing us to do what we do best.

We had a plan. Then we had a backup plan. We learned from those who’d gone before us, built a process we trusted, and when the time came, we executed it almost flawlessly.

Almost.

As the old saying goes, “The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.”

During our move to Florida, I suffered an acute muscle tear in my non-dominant arm that will require surgery. As much as I'd rather be tying jigs than sitting on the sidelines, recovery has to come first.

Unfortunately, Voodoo Custom Tackle will remain closed for at least a couple more weeks while I heal. We truly appreciate your patience, support, and understanding. We’ll be back as soon as we’re able, ready to get back to building the quality tackle you’ve come to expect.

We know you have many tackle companies to choose from, thank you for sticking with us through the tough times.

As we wrap up business at Voodoo Custom Tackle for a few weeks, we just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. 🎣

This season has been one for the books, and it would not have been possible without the incredible customers, friends, and supporters who continue to believe in what we do. Every order, every share, every recommendation, and every conversation helped keep this dream moving forward.

Running a small business is not always easy, and at the end of the day, the bottom line is the bottom line. Unfortunately, New York State has not been very small business friendly, and after a lot of thought, we are looking forward to a fresh beginning, new opportunities, and better things ahead. 🌴⚓ I promise not to dull you with NY politics however we will politely decline from being part of the democratic party in NY state and truthfully state you are the problem. Period. No apologies.

For now, we are taking a short pause while we move into our new location, relax a little, reset, and prepare for the next season.

When Voodoo Custom Tackle reopens, we’re coming back with major growth, fresh ideas, and exciting things already in the works. This is not the end of a chapter… it’s the launch ramp for the next one. 🚤🔥

If you're new or never used our products you really need to check us out. We focus on simple just done right. We don't have the advertising dollars to focus on one and done sales. Listen… we didn’t want to say anything… but the crappie have officially lost their minds

Somewhere… somehow… these fish got ahold of a little Barry White, dimmed the lights under the water, and now they’re out here acting like it’s a full-blown slow jam session in the shallows. 🎶🐟

We’re talking:

• Suspended in the mood

• Nibbling like they’ve got feelings

• Following jigs like it’s date night

AND HONESTLY… it’s getting out of hand.

So what are we doing about it?

We’re DROPPING the price on our Chenille jigs… because at this point, it feels unfair to charge full price when the fish are basically throwing themselves at your line like,

“Hey big angler… you come here often?” 😏🎣

This ain’t fishing anymore.

This is aquatic romance.

You bring the rod… we’ll bring the irresistible vibes.

Stock up while the crappie are still in their Barry White era… because once they switch back to heavy metal, you’re gonna have to actually work for it again.
