Our little family took a big hit. Makala "Big Mak" Gasparek was a force both on and off the pitch. Her hard hitting tackles could only be overshadowed by her love of the sport, her teammates, and her friends. We'll miss her infectious smile and the neverending encouragement she gave to everyone she was around. Hug your loved ones and let them know you love them. This life is far too short.

With you and rest easy

How much community interest in youth rugby is there in the Mahoning Valley (Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbiana)?

Rustbelt Rugby is on hiatus.

Hey Friends! Don't worry. We aren't going anywhere and are still committed to being advocates for the sport of rugby as the valley's source of information and connection. Currently, we are not offering team practice or competition opportunities. However, if you are interested in getting involved with our future programming or want to find other Rugby friends in the region, please shoot us a message here or email [email protected]

We will keep this site and our social channels open for communication and updates, so please be sure to follow us.

This weekend we're joining The Scramblers for Saturday's Hall of Fame 7s, our season's last tournament.

We'll take a break and return for a shortened fall season for our Women's D3 Festival League. Be on the lookout for details once they're finalized

With storms rolling in and now tornado watches in areas of our players we're calling it now to cancel practice.

Remember that SATURDAYS A RUGBY DAY! We'll see y'all at McKinney Soccer Complex on 420 McKinney Road, Wexford, PA 15090 with an arrival time of 9am.

Keep an eye out for the weather. Its heavy thunderstorms with hail. If it looks bad let's be safe and not risk practice.
