Freeport High School Soccer

To all Freeport high current soccer players and players that are planning to tryout for the team. We will begin our preseason conditioning this Monday, August 31st. We will condition 3 times per week on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's from 3:30 to 4:30. We will initially be at Freeport Regional until we get everything set up at the Freeport learning center which will be our home field for games and practices this season. Show up with water, cleats and flats, a positive attitude and ready to work!

Tryouts for the boys and girls teams will be the 2nd week of October.

We are having to move tomorrow's training to Thursday. Coach Joe has a early morning meeting that he has to attend. We will be training Thursday and Friday this week and then back to normal schedule next week.

Good turnout for our first day of summer training. If you have not downloaded the GameChanger app please do so. We will add you once you come to training and sign up. It is very hot and only going to get hotter, make sure that you are getting proper nourishment and staying hydrated before, during and after training. If any boys have not turned your uniforms in yet please bring them to training. It is imperative we get all uniforms back.

If you are interested in playing soccer for the 2026-2027 season we will start summer conditioning tomorrow morning at 8am at Freeport Regional sports complex. You will need to join the Gamechanger app as all communications will go through there for BOTH boys and girls teams. You must have a sports physical on file with Freeport High School to participate. If you need help with the process please reach out to Coach Joe for boys and Coach Krista or Coach Amy for the girls we are all on the app! We are looking forward to seeing all our returning players and seeing what talent we have up and coming!
