Dear Freeport High School Parent/Guardian and Student,
Welcome to Freeport High School — the #5 traditional public high school in Florida! We are very excited to welcome new and returning Bulldogs for another year. We should all take a great deal of pride in knowing that Freeport students are among the top academically achieving students in the state. We look forward to fresh starts and making lifelong memories in the 2026-2027 school year.
To help our new students feel prepared for the upcoming school year, we invite all 9th grade students and students who are new to Freeport High School to our New Student Orientation on Monday, August 10, 2026. You will enter the building through the cafeteria where you will pick up your schedule and visit various informational tables. Students and parents will be released to the gym at 12:10. The front doors will not be open, so please enter through the cafeteria courtyard
For our returning Freeport High School students, class schedules will be available through FOCUS on July 24th. Students will have until July 31st to submit a necessary schedule change through the link attached.

The link will also be available through Rooms and social media. After that date, students will have one more opportunity to submit a request after the first day of school. Keep in mind that not all requests can be honored. A paper copy of schedules will not be available for returning students on the day of orientation. Families may use their FOCUS accounts to access schedule information.
Again, due to our guidance department processing new students, schedule changes not submitted by the July 31st deadline will not be available until the second day of school.
I know one of the main reasons we are successful is because of the trust you place in each of us. We do not take that for granted. We are committed to you, your student, and our community.
