Our purpose at Nine-Ladies Dancing Dance Academy is to manifest the fruits of the Sprit in our life’s and to fulfill the Great Commandment (Luke 10:27): To love and worship the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength through life, dance, and the arts. We want to be a blessing to our dancers who wish to develop their character as well as their dance technique. We are dedicated to

providing a loving, encouraging, Christ-centered environment while training dancers to express their joy in dance to the world. Each student is encouraged to strive for their personal best in a non-competitive, accepting environment. We seek to foster an environment in which students are lovingly challenged in their pursuit of artistic excellence and are nurtured along the path to maturity. Our highly qualified faculty and staff share in this vision for students. POV: You’re 6 days away from opening a brand-new dance studio and suddenly realize…

EVERYTHING. STILL. NEEDS. TO. BE. CLEANED. 😂🧹🧽

So naturally, we turned the cleaning crew into a full-blown dance party!
At this point, we’re not sure if we’re opening a dance studio or starting an organized cleaning company. 😂

But somehow, with a whole lot of hard work, a little bit of chaos, and A LOT of amazing people willing to jump in and help…

The new Nine Ladies Dancing is almost ready for our dancers, and we couldn’t be more excited!

We’re so excited to introduce you to Miss Nora! As we begin Season 11, we’re thrilled to have Miss Nora joining our Nine Ladies Dancing family teaching our littlest dancers in the 2-5 years old range!

We can’t wait for our dancers and families to get to know her, but for now, here are a few fun facts to help you get started!

There are moments in life when you have to stop…look around…and let yourself take it all in. ❤️

Tonight was one of those moments for me.

This building started as a dream. Then it became a plan. Then a million decisions, long days, late nights, unexpected problems, hard conversations, sweat, tears, prayer, and more work than I could have ever imagined.

And now…

We are almost ready. 🥹

There are still mirrors to put up.
Floor trim to finish.
Furniture to bring in.
Things to hang on the walls.
Little details to finish.

And, most importantly…

We need our dancers. 💃🏼❤️

Because as beautiful as this space is, it isn’t the walls or the floors or the mirrors that make Nine Ladies Dancing.

It’s the people.

It’s the little dancers who will walk through these doors with their nervous smiles.

It’s the dancers who will fall and get back up.

It’s the friendships that will be made.

It’s the music that will fill these rooms.

It’s the prayers that will be prayed.

It’s the teachers who will pour their hearts into these kids.

It’s the parents who will cheer from the viewing windows.

It’s the memories that haven’t even happened yet.

And that is the part that makes me emotional.

Because I can finally stand in this space and picture it.

I can picture them. ❤️

Ten years ago, Nine Ladies Dancing began with just 11 dancers.

Today, we are standing inside a building that was once just a dream.

I don’t take that for granted for one second.

I am so incredibly thankful for every person who has helped us get here. For every helping hand. Every encouraging word. Every prayer. Every sacrifice. Every person who believed in this dream even when it felt impossible.

God has been so faithful.

We aren’t quite finished…

But we’re close.

So close. 🥹❤️

Here’s what we have so far.

And soon, these empty rooms won’t be empty anymore.

Soon, they’ll be filled with dancers.

And I cannot wait. 💕💃🏼

Tools in hand.
Dust everywhere.
Deadlines approaching.
Everyone slightly exhausted.
And somehow… we’re still dancing. 😂

We’ve had an AMAZING army of people show up to help us get this dream across the finish line, and I truly don’t know how we would have done it without them. ❤️

So yes… we may be hammering, drilling, stapling, painting, cleaning, hauling and assembling…

BUT WE WILL VOGUE WHILE WE DO IT. 💃🔨
