Thanks to the incredible generosity of and we have received funding to provide FREE swim lessons to qualifying families.

This scholarship program is available exclusively for children of teachers and first responders who have access to a private or community pool.

As a swim instructor, there is nothing more rewarding than helping children gain life-saving water safety skills and confidence in the water. This grant allows us to reach more families and remove financial barriers so more children can learn these essential skills.

It was an honor to stand alongside fellow swim instructors and organizations dedicated to saving lives through water safety education. Together, we’re helping make our community safer, one swimmer at a time.

4 years ago, I had the privilege of teaching this sweet little girl when she was just 22 months old.

Her mom recently sent me this video because she wanted me to see how much she loves swimming today.

One of the things I love most about teaching swim lessons is knowing that the skills we build early can create a lifetime of confidence in and around the water.

Watching former students grow up and continue enjoying the water never gets old 🧜‍♀️🥹🐳🌴🐚

What I love most about this moment isn’t just the swimming, it’s the decision making.

She learned she could pause at the wall, restart when ready, and roll into a float when tired. That’s real water confidence.

We work heavily on breath control and rhythm so swimmers learn how to stay calm, pace themselves, and problem solve independently in the water 💪💕🐳☀️🌴🥹

Tiny giggles 🤝 big skills

Learning to swim isn’t just about floating, it’s about learning what to do next. This lesson we worked on rolling into a float and continuing to swim independently after recovery.

The best lessons always include a mix of hard work, confidence building, and a few funny moments in between 🧜‍♀️🐚☀️🌴🐳💖

On the surface, he’s on a mission to unlock a treasure before the pirate arrives. Under the surface, he’s building real life-saving skills.

Every dive is practiced in breath control.
Every movement is body awareness and strength.
Every moment of excitement is a chance to learn how to stay calm and in control.

This is what swim lessons should feel like. Fun, engaging, and full of confidence building moments.

Because when kids think they’re playing, they’re often learning the most.
