Led by Captain Erik Johnson, we provide private inshore, nearshore, and freshwater trips in 4, 6, or 8-hour options for families, beginners, and anglers. I offer back bay fishing for Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, and different species depending on the season. I guide out of a 220 Skeeter SX and fishing up to 4 people for saltwater. The 4th is an extra $50! I do offer freshwater charters as well!!

Wrong.

June and July are actually phenomenal months for certain species if you know where to look:

🦈 Blacktip and spinner sharks are active nearshore
🐠 Cobia are still around structure and following baitfish
🎣 Redfish are stacked in the back bays and canal systems of Cape Coral
🐟 Sea trout are on the grass flats early morning
🐡 Snook are moving into the freshwater outflows

Captain Erik times his trips to beat the heat — early starts, productive spots, no wasted time. The fish don't stop eating in summer. You just have to know where they are.

If you've been wondering what's biting in Fort Myers waters right now — here's the real rundown from Captain Erik:

🐟 Snook — actively feeding in the passes and up the canals. They're pre-spawn and hungry.
🐠 Redfish — great action on the flats, especially on the higher incoming tides.
🐡 Tarpon — still rolling through the passes in good numbers. May is peak tarpon month.
🦈 Cobia — showing up nearshore along structure and following the cownose ray schools.
🎣 Spanish Mackerel — tearing up baitfish nearshore, great light-tackle fun.

May is genuinely one of the best months on the calendar in SWFL. The water is warm, the fish are active, and we're fishing almost every day.
