ISR FORT MYERS

ISR FORT MYERS Husband and wife teaching ISR Self-Rescue Swimming Lessons for ages 6 months to 6 years old in SWFL since 2007!

ISR goes beyond traditional swimming instruction by combining the fun of swimming with ISR's Self-Rescue techniques which are proven to save lives. The goal of ISR is to turn your child into an "Aquatic Problem-Solver". At ISR, your child’s safety is our first priority. Each survival swim lesson is uniquely tailored to your child’s needs based on a comprehensive assessment and continual monitoring

of your child’s health and skill attainment. I understand that every child learns at his or her own pace, and accordingly your child will be gently guided through each skill level based on his or her level of development and readiness.

Give your child the skills they need to be safer and more confident in the water this summer!

ISR lessons are available for children ages 6 months to 6 years old.

👶 Non-walking infants learn the Rollback-to-Float sequence, helping them return to a floating position if they find themselves in the water.

🏊 Walking children learn the Swim-Float-Swim sequence, allowing them to navigate the water, rest, breathe, and continue swimming to safety.

ISR lessons are customized to each child’s developmental readiness and taught in a gentle, one-on-one environment.

Visit www.isrfortmyers.com for full program details and scheduling information.

Summer is here—give your child a skill that can last a lifetime.

This!! “Here's the hidden gem: floating and breath control naturally teach emotional regulation. When toddlers learn to stay calm in water and control their breathing, they're building real-world skills for handling stress and trying again when things get tough. Early swim lessons leverage your child's natural brain plasticity and lower fear levels, making skill acquisition easier and more confident. You're not just enrolling them in another activity - you're investing in their safety, cognitive development, and emotional resilience all at once.”

Most parents think swim lessons are just about preventing drowning. But research shows toddlers who start swimming early get 88% drowning protection PLUS something unexpected: enhanced brain development. Every stroke and kick creates cross-lateral movement that forces both sides of the brain to work together, literally wiring neural pathways for reading, focus, emotional control, and language skills.

When your child moves through water, they're doing more than learning to float. They're developing better balance, quicker problem-solving abilities, and stronger motor skills than kids who don't swim. The resistance of water challenges their body awareness and posture while building core strength. Studies consistently show early swimmers outperform their peers in cognitive tasks that require bilateral brain coordination.
