The D.L.S. was pleasantly surprised and pleased with a phone call from a Hawkinsville scorekeeper this morning. The lady caller wanted to contact our office to compliment not only our players, but our coaches, parents and fans! She said our 10U girls were very respectful with their girls, no cross words of any kind amongst anyone. She made note that most games she attended or kept score at, there always seemed to be some kind of complaints and disrespect shown. She said you could tell the whole group was from a first-class community!
Great job girls, coaches, parents and fans for representing our community in such a positive way. Remember, you're representing yourself, your family and your community and people notice it!
