The Prep Tour is excited and honored to announce Future Champions Golf Tour Director Chris Smeal has chosen The Prep Tour to be a Stage 1 qualifying host to represent Team USA at the 2027 FCG Global Games.

The Prep Tour's Fall Finale Saturday October 24th at Lick Creek in Pekin and Sunday October 25th at Metamora Fields will qualify Champions and Runnerups to advance in the quest to represent Team USA in the 2027 FCG Global Games: https://futurechampionsgolf.com/7-26-29-fcg-global-golf-games/

Thank you to the nearly 200 competitors at Prep Tour tournaments last week. A fantastic final week of competitions as you get ready for your upcoming HS and Collegiate seasons. The Prep Tour encourages you to give your HS coaches your undivided attention, wear your school colors with pride. When your IHSA season is over, The Prep Tour has 2 Fall qualifiers to end 2026.

Sat 10/17 @ Ironwood. Winners qualify for 2027 NB3 Regionals and the chance to play on The Golf Channel! The Prep Tour is excited to watch our qualifier, Court Bohanan, compete this winter at the NB3 National Championship in Louisiana.

Our final event of the Summer has come to a close, and boy was it a good one! Winners of each age group qualified for the FCG Callaway World Championship in San Diego, California next July! What’s more, it took 8 UNDER PAR over 2 days just to get in a playoff! Chatham’s Lucas Boualavong just beat out a charging Nolan Murphy who shot a staggering 66 on Championship Day!

Congrats to all, thank you to Ironwood Head Pro Craig Onsrud and FCG Tour Director Chris Smeal for this awesome and competitive opportunity! Good luck in HS GOLF everyone!

The Prep Tour is excited to announce the winners at the inaugural Illini Golf / The Prep Tour "The Scholly.” The scholarship awards were made possible by a generous donation from the Jeff Winters' family in memory of Amanda Winters. Amanda was a frequent spectator @ Prep Tour tournaments watching SIU Saluki Women's golfer daughter Ainsley compete since Ainsley's junior high years. Illini Golf owner Matt Coulter told The Prep Tour players @ The Scholly awards ceremony that one of the best things about the game of golf is the relationships you make on a golf course. The Prep Tour couldn't agree more, we feel so fortunate to have met Amanda Winters.

“The Scholly" commenced with a Tuesday night Skills Challenege @ Illini Golf. Illini Golf's Caitlin Alwan was a fantastic host, the players enjoyed a full complimentary Taco & Quesadilla Bar.

Our last (and very full) week before high school golf started in Effingham this week. PGA Professional Tim Krouse and his staff do an awesome job! We’d like to thank him and the Members of Effingham CC for having us on their course!

Court Bohanan advances to NB3 NATIONALS, to play on The Golf Channel!

Congrats to Court, who fired a 73-71-144 EVEN PAR championship score at Firekeeper Golf Course in Mayetta, Kansas! This outstanding accomplishment qualifies Court to play at the NB3 National Championship on November 6th - 8th at Koasati Pines at Coushatta in Kinder, Louisiana! We will all be able to root on Court, as the event will be televised on The Golf Channel!
