🐾 Zayda × Moses Puppies Have Arrived! 🐾

I'm excited to announce that the Paladins Evolution (Zayda) × Cedarwoods Mountain Top (Moses) litter is several weeks old already

2 Females • 5 Males All puppies are already spoken for.

Dam: Paladins Evolution (Zayda) – NA 108 Prize I

Zayda comes straight out of Paladin mother lines through Paladins All In (NA 112 Prize I, UT 180 Prize II) and Hardtrigger's Stella (NA 110 Prize I), with Oxbow's Big Gun (UT 204) anchoring the top side of her pedigree.

Sire: Cedarwoods Mountain Top (Moses) – NA 112 Prize I, UT 204 Prize I
Moses is out of the blue-hen producer Cedarwoods Thunder Raider and sired by Killbuck's Private Reserve of Little Egypt (Winstn). He brings proven Cedarwoods genetics known for cooperation, nose, water work, and versatile hunting ability.

This breeding continues the Paladin female line while adding the proven Cedarwoods influence that has consistently produced hunting-first dogs. The goal was a litter of pups that hunt hard, remain cooperative partners for the gun, and possess the mental stability to excel both in the field and at home.

All puppies are already spoken for.

We can't wait to watch these pups develop and follow their progress over the years.

The Hunt First, Dogs Always.

This property is right in my neck of the woods, and I've walked just about every inch of it.

It's loaded with pheasants, ducks, and deer. In general, it's a little too thick for most dog training, but there are several isolated areas that would work very well for training setups.

Last year, I kayaked the entire water feature exploring it as a potential duck search training area. It's full of ducks, and with a little development of a send point, it could make an outstanding duck search property.

It was also the first time I've ever flipped a kayak. Hopefully the last.

If someone is interested in the hunting ground and looking at purchasing it, I would be interested in leasing access for dog training. I enjoy traveling to hunt and already have places to chase birds, so I can't really justify buying the entire property to hunt it myself.

Just thought I'd throw it out there in case a hunter, dog trainer, or investor is looking for a unique piece of ground with a lot of potential.

Located east of East Chain in the southeastern portion of Martin County sits this diverse hunting property.

We are officially fully booked for the rest of summer training.

I start hunting in September, so that wraps up my training calendar for the year.

Now it's time to finish up the dogs currently in the program, get the next incoming group of dogs ready for fall, and start looking forward to the hunting season. It won't be long before training birds turn into wild birds.

Thank you again for the support of Paladin Gundogs.

Aspen pup went from needing a wing on a string to lure into the water, to actually asking me to throw the bumper again and again.

Unfortunately the way things fell, her retrieve route took her by another planted bird. I was hoping she would just run by, but no luck...I had to walk up and take the bird out of her mouth and then flush the next one. She stood it..

The “F” litter has officially headed off to their new homes.

At the center of this pairing is one of the most influential dams in the breed, Prairie Trouts Rambunkous. She appears as a grandmother on the top side and a great-grandmother on the bottom, bringing her production forward while keeping the COI right where we wanted it.

We are especially honored that several longtime contributors to this pedigree chose pups from this litter:

• Joe, owner of the sire, Cedarwoods Comfortable Numb
• Tim, owner of Prairie Trouts Rambunkous
• Chris Clark of Prairie Trout Kennels, breeder of Rambunkous

That said, every family and hunting home in this litter matters to us. Whether you’ve been in the breed for decades or this is your very first Pudelpointer, we truly appreciate the trust you placed in us.

Welcome to the Paladin family.
