Three trips to the State platform. One unforgettable legacy.
Jackson competed at the Minnesota State Olympic Weightlifting Championships for the 3rd time this weekend. While he hoped to have some competition, he remains the first and only wheelchair athlete in Minnesota High School State Weightlifting history.
He didn’t just show up, he delivered a great meet:

Jackson has helped pave the way for what’s possible in our sport, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work, determination, and leadership he’s shown throughout his career.

Toughness on full display this weekend.

After being sick before the meet, Addie stepped onto the platform at the Minnesota State Olympic Weightlifting Championships for the second straight year and battled her way to a 5th place finish in her class.

Competing at that level is impressive on its own, but doing it while coming off illness shows the heart and determination she brings to the sport every day.

We’re proud of the fight and proud to have her represent our team. 💪

State Qualifier - Addison Lintelman

We came into this meet with specific numbers to hit to qualify for state: a 64kg total. She hit her 27kg sn**ch as a 2kg PR, leaving a 34kg Clean & Jerk needed for the QT. She had not yet hit this weight in competition or practice. After failing the first two attempts at 34kg, she nailed the final attempt to go on to state.
