Suisun Valley Yoga I am grateful to run the wellness program at WOW and the opportunity to bring more joy and better living to the community in Fairfield and Suisun Valley

I have been a Registered Nurse for 30 years. I worked in ER's, ICU's and tiny airplanes transporting critically ill patients. I suppose you might say I was an adrenaline junkie. A few close calls in-flight led me to consider other options. I chose to go back to school. I completed my Masters Degree in Nursing Education at UCSF with the intention to TEACH. And teach I did! I taught many courses inc

luding anatomy for registered nursing programs. During this time, I took more interest in my personal yoga practice and decided to become a yoga instructor. Many, many trainings later, I completed my 500 hour advanced yoga training through Yoga Tree, in San Francisco, with a focus on anatomy, alignment and therapeutics. Yoga is for EVERY BODY We just have to find what is right for YOUR BODY

It is my belief that health of the mind and of the body are directly related, and therefore, happiness is an integral part of one's own health. For me, yoga is unique in its ability to promote this balance. I am fully committed in unifying traditional western methods of healing with more natural interventions. The body is designed to heal itself, I would like to show you how you can support that process. Yoga is MADE for all bodies, it just doesn’t look the SAME in all bodies.

Stress is not a sign that something is wrong with you.
It’s a normal and necessary part of being human. Stress helps us grow, adapt, protect what matters, and move through life’s challenges. The goal is not to eliminate stress completely. The goal is to learn how to regulate, recover, and return to balance.

Our nervous systems were never designed to stay in survival mode all day long. We need moments of pause. Moments of breath. Movement. Connection. Rest. Grounding.

When we learn how to support the body instead of fighting against it, stress becomes something we can move through rather than something that controls us.

Regulation is not perfection. It’s the practice of coming back to yourself again and again. 🤍

What is Somatic Flow?

It’s NOT your typical yoga class and you won’t find anything similar around here.

This dynamic, somatic-based practice blends spiraling, wave-like movement, yoga kriyas, and breathwork to help release tension, regulate your nervous system, and move stuck energy out of your body.

Expect continuous, strength-based flow with moments of powerful, guided breathwork to build heat, shift energy, and deepen your connection within, followed by grounding integration to help it all land.

Rooted in trauma-informed principles, you’ll be guided to move in a way that feels safe, intuitive, and deeply supportive.

You’ll leave feeling open, energized, and more like yourself.
