Belleville Pickleball classes got off to a great start this week! Thank you to all of our participants and to the awesome parks and rec department who moved quickly and even made us some cool shirts. Also a big congratulations and thank you to Dani Napoli who made her coaching debut with the Tuesday group! We can’t wait to see you all next week, and thanks for trusting us to help you on your pickleball journey!

Hey guys as I’m sure most of you are aware by now, Dani, Zoey and I have moved to Belleville and we’re finally starting to settle in after a ton of misfortune and headaches in this first month. Now that we have some semblance of a home in place, it is time for me to start rebuilding my business! I would love to continue coaching here in the Midwest! My specialty is in helping new players learn the fundamentals and helping intermediate players fill holes in their game.

If you, or anyone you know is interested in having their first pickleball lesson or class, please pass my info along to them, or reach out to me directly! I am currently located in Belleville but will definitely travel to arrange groups and private lessons. I teach all ages, from 7-107. If you know someone who is 108, they are eligible for our referee program 😆 hehe

Last week Fairfield Pickleball Club and USA Pickleball were proud to host these awesome young folks for a special beginner clinic! Our local cub scouts came out to learn our great sport and I think they’re hooked! Thank you to Selkirk for providing paddles through the Community Growth Program!! And thank you to fellow USAP Ambassadors George Kennedy and Dennis Chen for helping facilitate an awesome time! We also hosted our regular beginners clinic and between the two clinics we had 4-5 courts of instruction!! Thanks so much to all who participated and helped make it a great day! Join us again in March!

Great news! Sign ups are live for the February session of Pickleball 101 and Pickleball Progression (Intermediate) classes! Classes are 4 sessions meeting every Wednesday of the month starting 2/7!

There will be two separate classes:

1) Pickleball 101: FUNdamentals of pickleball.

Please wear athletic shoes and bring water
6:30pm-7:30pm

-Dive into the world of pickleball with our Pickleball 101 class for adults (16 and over). This beginner-friendly course is designed to introduce you to the basics of the game, from proper grip and footwork to understanding rules and scoring. Join us for a dynamic, inclusive and fun learning environment, where you can develop your pickleball skills while enjoying a social and active experience. Get ready to d**k, serve, rally, and have a blast on the court!

2) Pickleball Progression: Intermediate Skills Class
7:40-8:40

-Take your pickleball skills up a notch in our “Pickleball Progression” class presented by Napoli Pickleball Academy! Perfect for players with 4 months or more experience or those around/approaching the 3.0 level, we'll focus on learning tactics, refining techniques, and boosting your court confidence. Join us for friendly, skill-building sessions that'll make you an even better player. Let's step up your pickleball game together!

We had another amazing turnout (plus 4 not pictured) for Fairfield Pickleball Club’s bi weekly free skills clinics! These clinics are free for first timers, and members of the club, after that it’s only $10 for non members! If you or your friends are pickle curious, Come learn pickleball with us on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month!
