Diedrick has been working with Walter for months on this bike, and last week the time came for him to pick up his brand new Pocket Rocket. Despite the travel fatigue of flying in from Europe, he was all smiles when he finally got to see it in person.

Now, I'm under strict instructions not to share too many details about this particular bike, but those of you with eagle eyes might be able to spot why. For those who know, you know — but shhhh, all will be made clear this summer!

What I can say about this bike:

Full SRAM Force AXS eTap wireless electronic groupset — completely cable-free shifting

TPU Tubes Tubiltos
SRAM Force 172.5mm carbon crank with 50t aero chainring
10-36 12-speed SRAM Force AXS cassette paired with a Flattop chain
Light Wheels carbon rims laced to DT Swiss 350 hubs with red titanium skewers
Customer supplied Profile Design Aero Drop Bar
Custom Ultra Light Stem
Chris King headset and bottom bracket
Thomson Masterpiece seatpost
Fizik Antares saddle
Panaracer Minitslite 28mm
Speedplay pedals
Finished in a two-tone Dolphin Grey and Stealth Black

He also ordered a suitcase to go along with his bike.

The overall bike weighs in at a little uner 18Ibs/ 8kg

We are heading to the Northwest Tandem Rally this weekend in Cottage Grove, Oregon and we would love to see you there.

📍 Bohemia Park, Cottage Grove, OR
📅 June 5-7, 2026

Registration is $160 per person and that gets you two days of fully supported riding with rest stops every 10-20 miles stocked with local food and drinks, live music Saturday, and access to the vendor fair all weekend.

On Saturday you can choose your distance through Oregon wine country: 27, 46, or 70 miles. Sunday is the Covered Bridges Scenic Bikeway, a beautiful 34-mile ride past six historic covered bridges along the Row River.

Come find us at Bohemia Park on Sunday. We will be at the vendor fair demonstrating some of our offerings, including Tandem travel bikes, and as always, we are happy to chat about anything bikes.

P.S. Not all of the photos are from previous NWTR's, but they do relate to the magic of riding a Tandem, even if the first is technically a triplet!!

We look forward to seeing some of you there!

Happy World Bike Day! And what better way to celebrate than by doing what we do best — building bikes! This Green Gear Green All-Day is next up in the stand getting its cabling.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the process of putting bikes into your hands. The unsung heroes who supply us with parts, the delivery drivers who ensure bikes arrive safely, our global dealers who build our frame kits into something unique that their customers will love, and the service mechanics who keep our bikes running for decades on the road. THANK YOU for doing what you do — it's what allows us to build bikes for a living.

Now stop scrolling, put down your phone, and get out there for a ride!

We believe the bicycle is still the most efficient, human-centred form of transportation ever designed. Our guiding belief is simple: a bicycle should amplify your life. It should fit you, reflect you, and be there when you need it wherever you are in the world.

We exist to offer elegant, personal solutions to modern problems: reducing reliance on car culture, supporting healthier lives, and strengthening communities, one thoughtfully built bike at a time.

We are very lucky to have partnered with some of the very best bike shops and businesses around the world. It has always been very important to us that no matter where someone buys their Bike Friday, they have the best experience possible.

Geoffrey Smith, who runs BikePartners.net, really exemplifies this high level of service, offering mobile appointments from Santa Rosa, California. These photos come from a delivery to a happy customer who he recently set up with a Ever-e-Day complete with a front hub E-assist kit.

This 2022 All-Packa is the passion project of Bike Friday employee Leo, who created this custom faded paint scheme that transitions from Tickle Pink into a unique Silver Lavender hammertone powder coat. This color scheme is not ordinarily available, making this bike truly one of a kind.

The bike has been built for riders 4'9"–4'10", with adjustments that make it suitable for riders up to 5'3", depending on handling preferences.

Other details include:
• Easy Pack titanium seatpost
• Standard Arc disc hubs (sealed cartridge bearings)
• Stainless steel spokes
• Tubeless-compatible Promax rims
• Microshift 10-speed (11–36) cassette
• Schwalbe Super Moto X 2.4" tires
• Shimano M375 disc brakes
• SRAM GX 10-speed rear derailleur and GX shifter
• Shimano 105 front derailleur with Microshift R10 front shifter
• 50/34 chainrings
• Red anodized FSA Orbit MX headset

You may recognize it from our shoot last year. Since then, Leo has added matching front and rear racks to the build and is now ready to let it go.

If you’re interested in purchasing this bike, DM us and we’ll connect you with Leo. This would be a private sale, priced at $5k+.

What do you do on a Friday?

One of the unexpected benefits of riding a Bike Friday is how often it becomes a conversation starter.

Whether it's a curious question at a café, a chance encounter on tour, or spotting another Friday rider hundreds of miles from home, these bikes have a way of creating connections.

These archive photos capture a mix of group rides, chance meetings, and moments where riders ended up sharing the road for a while.

If you’ve enjoyed being part of this community, we’d really appreciate your help in spreading the word. Leaving us a Google review about your experience as a Bike Friday rider makes a real difference, and so does introducing a friend or riding partner to the brand. Both help more people find their way into the community.
